Yeah it was back in movember and I let it grow.
Great car. But seriously, I had a 1981 Golf LX 4 speed manual like this one back in '88: Cheers Robin |

The 5.0 LX Notchback was the real sleeper. It was lightweight as it didn't have the body panels or the full rear hatch glass that the GT had. You can still make big cheap power with that motor.

1970s Camaro LT
Hand me down from my Grandmother Had granny gearing as the LT stood for Luxury Touring. Only owned it for about a year before I got into one of these. |

My supra came with 185hp. But, it was RWD, came with LSD and weighed in around 2800 pounds. Loads of fun. Great car to learn in. Enough power to weight so it's not boring yet not so much power that you can upset the chassis too badly mid turn with the throttle. Very forgiving and having to drive it for 10 years gave me plenty of time to really dial in the suspension.

Bet it's a blast to drive. I would have loved to have my E46 M's under 3k pounds.

It is but could use 360whp instead of crank now and lose another 200lbs. Would put me in good position against z06, gt3, gtr, and new slew of fast ass cars.
