About to pull the trigger on an i5M60 but debating the colour, it’s either going to be Oxide Grey or Sophisto Grey.

if the sophisto grey looks the same as the sophisto grey on the X3, my vote will probably go to oxide grey.

full disclosure: mine is going to be the somewhat boring sapphire black, but that's because I can't stand all the black parts, so I want the sapphire black to blend in and make the whole car mostly black. although... oxide grey was the only other color that I really considered because it looks very good and excellent.

Yeah I am leaning towards Oxide Grey but it really depends on whether my dealer can get one within the next week or two.

seen both in person. the sophisto does look really good and stealthy yet not completely black. its comes off pretty sleek and slick.

I use to have an M5 Competition in Donington Grey which I believe is quite similar to Oxide Grey and I loved that colour, I have seen the Sophisto Grey but in a different model and it is very nice and I know I would be happy with either but I’m just leaning towards the Oxide Grey because of my M5.

got it last week, in love with it. Was worried i wouldn't like the white interior and 19 in rims , but got a crazy lease deal so went with it. Love it !

That’s a great looking car - is that oxide grey/frozen? The color combination is great and those are the best looking 19” rims I’ve seen. Great buy.

Thanks for the pictures! That's a great color combination inside and out. Oxide Grey really looks good with those wheels too.

Thanks all! I’m really pleased with it so far.

I’m coming from a Tesla M3P, so the i5 feels BIG! I think because the Tesla has a huge front window with no dash it accentuates the size of the front bonnet and view of the i5. Obvs I’m not fully used to driving a car with a standard dash layout so hopefully will start feeling more “normal”.

The M60 doesn’t “feel” as quick as the M3P, again Tesla is a lot smaller and feels more chuckable than the M60, but not really pushed the i5 just yet.

Tech is insane with sooooo many different menus etc, but I feel I’m getting used to it and once you’ve set everything up you rarely need to delve deep into any menus.
Tesla does do the tech and simplicity of layout very well, but I’m definitely enjoying the more premium BMW feel.

Next……I quite fancy a few external enhancements- front lip spoiler and larger rear boot lid spoiler.

Very happy with the car overall!

The 5 series is a fast luxury car unlike the M3P. There will be no comparison to the ride quality of the i5.

You can do it. And you can then give others valuable tips here!

I've been reading the instructions for several months and watching YT. It will probably take me 2-3 days to get everything set up. I'll work through my notepad point by point.
My genius has already asked me if I can instruct him.

Some might see this as the safe color or boring, but me thinks black and white looks really clean on the G60. Recently tinted, 20% sides and back, 55% windshield.
