It's 11 F-ing degrees here this morning, with a 4 MPH wind. We received about an inch of powdery snow overnight, and there is very light super-fine snowflakes falling right now. It should be wrapping up soon here.....

Don't start me. Me I am good at 80ish, maybe 82 as well. The wife wants it at 87+. Now in summer it gets a FULL days sun and warms up really fast, i don't use the heater Mid June through August. But man, shoulder months, she will grind that heater unless i happen to walk by and tweak it. We close Mid October, TBH that is too late, should do it earlier.
As for the summer here, it's very New York. Rarely gets above 30, maybe tops out at 35 but FUCK the humidity. So sticky. Back home we clear 40 regularly by that's more frying pan, this is oven. Last edited by Alfisti; 01-29-2022 at 10:53 PM.. |

I almost sent y'all another patio lunch pic today, but I figure you had enough with the blizzard to keep you entertained

Actually got into the high 30s here this morning, something we see only once in a while. I like a nice “cold-ish” snap here when we get them.
Meanwhile, in RI where I grew up, there was about 2’ of snow yesterday.

Panic buying has set in here. Snow is still two days away, but the gas stations are full and the stores are packed. At most, the snow will put a stop to normality for 2 days. It's not like we're going to be buried for a week.
