Speaking of wearing the watches either on your right or left wrist; I don't think wearing the watch on one's right hand is a weird attitude but I must admit when I wear a watch on my wright wrist I feel a bit quirky lol .It's kind of unorthodox way of wearing a watch at least it makes me feel like that
However, wearing a watch upside down is a bit weird to me giving the fact that you have to twist your arm to check the time

Pulled out the Ninja Turtle today. Back on the stock band. I just don’t give this one enough wrist time.

I've got a Sinn 856 UTC that I wear when I'm flying. It's *utterly* bombproof-- anti-magnetic, sapphire crystal, waterproof to 200M, filled w/ inert gas and the tegimented steel is something like five times harder than the usual steel used in a watch. I've been (literally) banging it around the cockpit for over a year and it still looks like the day I got it. If you break or scratch it, you've got a lot bigger problems as you've just driven into a mountain or something like that-- Yay, Sinn! |

Just got this today. A little bitter sweet as this watch symbolizes the new beginnings for my life from my divorce. Excuse the lighting as I just took some quick pics.

Truth be told, I would rather not be getting this watch for that reason. But it is what it is. Been eyeing this watch for a couple of years and promised myself I would get it after my divorce.
On a side note, I did speak to the owner of Detroit Watch Company, Patrick. Extremely pleasant guy and willing to answer all questions. He even volunteered a bunch of information about the watch I didn't think to ask. |
