Detroit is almost always competitive in the 1st half of games but falters regularly in the 2nd half. That's on coaching, which is why so many fans didn't want Caldwell back. But I agree, why get rid of him if you won't have a proper replacement.

Austin would have been suitable. It's almost as though Bob Quinn wanted to let Caldwell go for Austin during his interview speaking to the media. I wonder how much Martha told him he needs to be retained.

This would be heaven for me. On one hand, if Dallas wins, I finally dont have to hear the "Dallas hasnt won anything for a decade" argument and on the other, Goodell has to hand Brady and Bill the trophy and watch Brady win SB MVP as well. I think this would almost be better than Dallas winning because Id love to watch Brady and Bill leave Goodell hanging when he goes to shake their hands.
