Robinhood is a joke and is always on the news in one way or another, why anyone would use it is beyond me. Use a good trading platform like thinkorswim by TD or something similar.

And almost everyone offers trading at no commission now (thanks to robinhood).

How is Robinhood a joke? Just because it has an outage for one day? Every broker has issues. I used TDA, IB, Webull and they all have their own issues. There is no broker that is 100%.

TDA on the first trading day of the 2020.

That stocktwitz site is crazy! So much garbage mixed in with normal people. Read a post where a guy was pissed because he had no choice to sell his shares of XSPA at a loss because his $250 car payment was due. Seriously?

Probably day trader which we all know that it usually doesn’t work out unless you really know what you’re doing. I know someone who’s putting $100K in to make $5K in a few weeks. Now while that sounds good, the rate of return is only 5% while the downside is so big, IMO.

Webull has the best mobile app by far. I've been using them and Fidelity, but plan to transition over to Webull completely by end of month.

The Robinhood app is the worst mobile app I've used in a long time, and their customer support is a joke.

They definitely have some issues:

I just closed my account with them this morning. They gave me a feee visa stock without even funding, so I'm happy!

For my long term investment accounts, I prefer to use Robinhood. Robinhood has fractional shares which automatically reinvest my dividend.

For day trading, Webull is light years better than Robinhood. Has all the technical analysis indicators, extended hours trading, free Lvl 2 if you are active trader. But it has a lot of noise for new traders that don't need all that stuff.

That's pretty cool. Yea, I can see Robinhood being beneficial then. Their site is better than app imo.

Do you know how to see level 2 on Webull? I can't seem to find it in app.

I never like averaging up. But that is just my preference.

But if I was buying...I would be jumping in if I seen 2.6x's again!

Exactly.

I just don't understand how people would sell at a loss. The DO was $5.25 and closes this Friday. That means that the company has investors willing to pay more per share than the stock closed for the previous day.

Guys if you own a stock...don't just blindly own it. You have to know it inside and out. I had people calling me even late afternoon yesterday wanting to know what happened. If they can't figure out something that simple...they should not be doing this!

This only dilutes total shares by 15%. And I should have been more clear in my original post when I mentioned no dilution....I meant no share price dilution.

That is when you have a stock selling at $2...and the company does a PO/DO and sets a price of say something like $1.50. That is share price dilution.

With what Xspa did, it shows that they believe in what they are trying to build and believe in the current value. They set that value when they locked in that price.

It gives them $40M in cash....and I believe they already have more contracts that they haven't released yet and needed the cash to convert those spaces.

JFK is supposed to open by EOM. And as I said, we have seen the job postings in other cities where they are asking for clinical intake personnel, and people with a medical background.

So with a PR and Public Float being so low...this will run fast. You can see the spread it's selling at to see how fast it can "gap up".

And I hope that the CEO "milks" it out and does a PR for each opening he gets.

Lol, I figured you would say that.

Thank you I will keep an eye on her. I really like SGBX as a COVID play mainly, but also could be the next housing movement as real estate continues to become out of touch for a lot of lower middle class folks.

They just did an interview with the CEO, and guess who their biggest customer is?

U.S military!

If they get some sort of GOV contract it's over! Same thing with XSPA.

With case numbers on the rise and the likelihood of a vaccine being a year away, more testing is inevitable.

Do you guys ever buy stocks that haven't lost 98% of their value in the last 10 years?

Lol, yes, but they are boring and not worth mentioning.

80% of my portfolio is in; DIS, BA, AAPL, SHOP.

I have set aside some play money for COVID and am experimenting with penny stocks for fun.

If you never try, you'll never know, right?

Thanks for this -- I'm looking for alternatives to tech and as you stated outside of treasury manipulation. They seem pretty solid.

As I said earlier...I try to stay to 5 or less. Easier to keep up with!
Remember this post on 6/12?

TNXP triggered my sell order on news this morning in Pre-Market.

20% gain on 5K shares! That's why I use extended hours always. Once the market officially opens....most of the profit from news like this has been taken and why you see dips at opening!

EDIT - Looks like SXTC could get it's turn soon.

How does a company IPO at $16,000, end up at $0.65 and still survive?

With the virus...the market is on it's head right now. Anything related to a "Covid" stock is in play.

That includes a lot of stuff such as bio-pharms, food services, delivery services.

I bought that stock at .61 and sold at .77. It actually went up into the .80's for a minute. A lot of people trying to hold and be greedy...now they are stuck back at the lower price.

I'm fine with ~ 20%. But in reality....this same stock will "pop" again within a week I bet....even if it makes no sense.

It's a crap shoot!

I forget who was asking but I'm only in GNUS for $100... at a ghastly $7/share.

I'm not as interested in the stock price. I am interested to know how a company that loses $30M+ a year for 5+ years is still in business? Who funds them?
