Bought 2lbs of wild caught colossal shrimp, boiled half with some Old Bay, bay leaves, cracked pepper and sea salt. Chilled those for shrimp cocktail and used the other half for a made from scratch shrimp scampi with linguine.

Forgot to take a picture. Oh well.

Michigan peach tart
Recipe modified from Bruno Albouze’s peach and lavender tart

Hazelnut pastry crust, vanilla custard with diced Michigan peaches and white chocolate ganache whipped cream. Nearing the end of the batch of Michigan peaches I froze this summer. The peaches’ color, flavor and texture has held up well in the freezer.
