Have a quick question for everyone. For those of you who golf, how do you store your golf bags? Any type of hook? Looking to put them up on the wall and off the floor since we have a lot of wall space. Links would be great!

Thanks!

After too many years of putting it off I finally got around to changing my house numbers. The old ones were pretty ugly and I wanted something that was self-lit. This is what I decided on. The whole job only took about six hours and I only had to remove about half the siding in order to run the wires for the LEDs. I think it's a great improvement though and worth the effort.

Looks good Buug959
I`m not sure I would spend 6 hours running wires just to have illuminated numbers

Started on finishing my garage yesterday. Finishing being getting insulation, vapor barrier and drywall up on all the walls. Got this far on the 1st wall yesterday in 4 hours with a buddy helping. After the walls are done I need to decide on if I will take on the ceiling work, or hire it out. Might be this year or next spring.

After the walls are finished I will get a workbench, some cabinets, shelving units, new bike racks, and get quotes on epoxy flooring. I have a 60 inch tv mounted up already but will be relocating that, adding in a soundbar and subwoofer setup, and hiding all the wires in the walls for a clean look-- thinking about the tv I need to get that wiring stuff figured out before all the walls go up. Anyways, really excited to have a new garage setup. We spend so much time in there hanging out in the warmer months why not have it be nice and furnished.

Made some great progress since my last post. All walls have been insulated, vapor-barriered, and drywalled-- took me and a friend about 20 hours of work (including 3 hours of some light electrical stuff, moving outlets and such). I hired out the ceiling drywall work, fire taping, and attic insulation. The TV nook and entrance into the house wall was already finished off and clearly has taken on some nasty discoloration over the years.

Huge milestone last night being able to pull the car back into the garage. Next up is laying down a couple coats of Kilz on the walls and ceiling, then I have some cabinets, tool box stuff, and slatwalls coming I need to setup. Then phase II for next spring is prettying up my TV nook with some decor, maybe a bar, lighting, etc. then determining a path to upgrade the flooring.

Getting closer to being done with phase I of the garage project. Installed a slat wall for hanging up stuff and 11 foot wide Husky cabinet/toolbox system. Super impressed with the quality and and strength of these Husky cabinets.

My wife has a thing with having accent walls in our homes (the 3 houses we have owned together we have had orange accent walls) and since the wall she wanted to paint had super stained nasty old drywall I said go for it. She painted it a navy blue color and I dig it. Need to get all the crap out of the space and organized.

We are in the middle of a debate on what to do left of my black toolbox cabinets. There is another slat wall in boxes that we could put to the left of the cabinets to make the whole setup symmetrical but it might overwhelm the TV nook area and get in the way of a potential dart board or couch spot. Another option is put the slat wall to the right of the door going into our house. We haven't decided where the other slat wall will go so any opinions are welcomed.

Thank you. Went with ProSlat in the charcoal color. Product link:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Proslat-...8104/204123947

It's a little pricey but had much better reviews than the less expensive alternatives.

great job only thing I would change, is the books selection

CAR & Driver, Car, Motor trend, what car, performance BMW, road and track

never too early to get the little tyke started off on the right food,

green eggs and ham, 5 little piggies, all have there place, but not really teaching them real world skills

oh,oh, let's not forget, Guns & Ammo, cigar affcianado, Great steaks of the world

REAL life skills, I don't ever remember Dr. Zeus teaching me anything worth while

Car books especially so if it's a girl. Practical Mechanics ... get em wrenching early, my daughter learned the 3 P's of car diagnostics very early on

Plugs , points and Petrol

My wife and I spent a few hours organizing the garage over the weekend and I added some more slatwall to account for the kids stuff needing a spot. It's looking really good and I enjoyed watching a few hours of football yesterday from my garage TV nook. Next up is installing some LED light strips all the way around the corners of the ceiling to have a lower lighting vibe. The LED shop lights are too bright and intense when just chilling watching TV.

You may spy the stock differential from my 240 on top of the fridge. Need to find a better spot for that thing....

Weather here has been miserable so I've been working on the inside of the tiny cabin. Hoping to get the roof finished off this week, which will be the last thing before calling it "Done."

Got the "kitchen" installed, complete with RV sink, a 12volt water pump, and jugs underneath for 2.5 gallons of fresh water and 2.5 gallons of gray water.

The sofa/bed is now done thanks to a friend who has the time and skills to sew those big cushion covers. It's a full size memory foam mattress that I chopped up into sections to serve the purpose. Pretty comfy.

Shelving went up last weekend and today I'm going to finish off the AC inverter wiring.

Bar and Gameroom looking a little tired...had some stone tiles laying around form the last project (the one's the wife rejected in the bathroom).

So - bar is mine, she has no say.

Out with the signed pictures, in with the stone. From that, also painted and cleaned up the gameroom.

But then - decided to do something nice for the wife anyway. Added a 54 bottle wine fridge.

Then shit got messy again...but ended up with more shelves and nice bar lighting that changes colors.

Hard to see, but put in a stone pillar in the middle of the long shelves for added support. Only issue is that since I moved the Vodka from the left to the right...I don't have the shelves high enough to hold the bottle of Belvedere. I'll need to drill some more holes.

Great looking bar. I'm really loving the look because I'm totally biased: One of my company's products is right there in the photo. Love seeing our products in the wild.
