Over here it's even worse with our Belgian government !
Last week they said corona is actually nothing more than a regular flu , while we saw pictures what was going on in the Italian hospitals ...some look like a horror scene !
They also said to us ...When you feel sick with fever , stay at home and don't call a doctor !
Well...Today our government was singing a drama song . Here they went in alarm-fase 2 !
Public visits are forbidden in hospitals and in rest and nursing homes .
And they talked already from alarm-fase 3 ...

Just plain advice like washing hands, wearing masks if necessary and keeping metres apart from others would be more sensible.

Well...At work I have an Italian worker, his brother works in Italy in the first aid emergencies .
They saw in Italy that washing hands and using disinfection gel didn't worked against the virus .
But a disinfection gel with chlorine did a great job . Sadly everything is already sold out . And where you still find it , the price is raised to x 100 !
Anyway let us hope for the best my friend .

That's because corona is extremely contagious !
Today at the company I/we got new regulations :

1- If you have to speak with other people keep always a distance from at least 3 meters
2- Use the alcohol gel as much as posible and don't shake hands .
3- All the towels are removed and replaced by paper
4- When you have eaten in the cafeteria , clean your table and chair with the disinfectant
5- Clean your computer and smartphone and all the touch screens with the disinfectant when you finish your work
6- If you feel sick ,report it to your boss ASAP (actually I'm the boss) and leave the company ASAP
7- Drive directly to your home ,avoid contact with other people and report back to the company

Our doctors refuse to receive us . We have to call first and describe our complaints first .
Well my friend...I've never seen such a measures in my life !

The elderly care center in Kirkland (about 25 miles from us) was the epicenter of the US COVID-19 outbreak and 20+ patients have died; scores of other patients and employees test positive; there are 10 (yes 10) other elderly care centers in the greater Seattle area that have MULTIPLE cases that have tested positive....

About a week ago, my wife and I have voluntarily self-quarantined at home.

I see . Self-quarantine is the way to go ...I can't because my job-function is very important for the company .

We just got here in Belgium a special newsflash !
Pretty much everything is locked down from tomorrow morning !
Schools , restaurants , theaters , disco's , sport events and all the open public places .

Only companies, food stores and pharmacies will remain open ( with reservation )
