BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage unveiled (w/ classic livery rendering)

I can appreciate it for what it is, a "hommage"...I see the Parallels with the 3.0CSL but would say that the front has a lot going on and the vibrant color doesnt help. I enjoy pouring over the photos and analyzing the design, "good" or "bad"....it's all subjective anyway

That's exactly what I was going to post. Looks like a boar/pig with flared nostrils from the front end. The side profile, back profile, and birds eye profile are much better and look pretty good. Even the lights are interesting. Nevertheless, that front end looks like a pig's face. They definitely need to fix that.

I like it - love the totally unconventional styling - and I like the color too (I have AY F80 - so guess I'm biased to that yellow). I'd take that car with the S55 engine and CF roof on it in a heartbeat (if I could get a 2 seater that is...)

I think people may be missing the idea...I don't think they actually plan on producing this car the way it currently is. I'm sure it is a radical idea of what they actually are planning. Most likely will be something tamer and not as ridiculous looking.

The team in charge of the front/rear fenders got their units mixed up and built them too large. It looks like a Frankenstein of different cars.

From certain angles, I can see potential and the emotion they were striving to provoke. The problem to me is that sometimes the end result is less than the sum of it's parts. I do not dislike everything, I just do not the end product of all the various things I do like. I hope that makes sense.

Don't like it. The original looks so good and they made the front end of this thing horrendous. What's with that roof spoiler? Back end doesn't look bad though, i8 esc.

taking me some time to digest the taco wrap front end. like 2 pieces of cube carne asada sticking out the nostrils.

the rear taillight is cool - smooth look.

pretty radical design / there was a slight cringe viewing the photos. taking time to look at all the styling cues. taking it all in. like unmasking phantom of the opera.
