I don't drink whatsoever, so bars and clubs are out. Everyone at work is married (and I wouldn't want to date in the workplace anyway) and outside of that I don't meet them anywhere. I wouldn't even know where to start. The goal would be a gf, but at my age (34) finding one that isn't married or with kids or as ugly as a whales vagina is pretty hard, so I just gave up. It isn't worth the fight. Plus I hate kids beyond any words in any language can possibly describe so that tends to ward them off too.

Definitely don't lead with the fact you hate kids. You're 34, so women your age (or even younger) will probably want kids. Their years are more limited when it comes to dating (since there is a period when it's best for them to have kids), so they are quick to weed out guys that don't want kids. Obviously don't mislead them either since that's rude.

Tried Match.com, FULL of fake profiles, Christian Mingle is full of prudes and monsters (they look like they would be right at home behind the wheel of a semi), and then I gave up on that, but yes I had paid for subscriptions to both with no luck. Haven't tried Tinder though.

The kids thing is probably my biggest issue, but I'm honest so I would make that known if I were to date again, but I haven't in almost 9 years so that hasn't really came up.

Tinder works. When I get bored, I'll go on there and spark conversations and meet ups with random chicks all day. Grant it, I am happily screwing my GF right now, might as well make sure there is back up readily available.


Just be straight up with what you like and don't like. Some will stick around and others will vanish. That's the nice part about it.

PUA/psychology books? It's just there to give the people who have analysis paralysis a way to get out of their comfort zone and feel like they have a structured routine to follow, but guess what? When I got things happened, how much "Mystery Method" did I use? Almost none. Maybe "C/F" or "kino escalation" once she was in bed with me but nothing else, but it still boils down to being your own confident positive self. It helped me get in bed with 3 other girls after that (including my ex-girlfriend, but I dumped her and took it as a learning experience, not someone to base a stereotype for other women to follow after her.

Holding onto your trust issues/grudges is understandable at first glance, but 10 years is a bit too long, man. Let go of whatever prejudices you have against women, go forth and frolic without being desperate, and don't close yourself off and the right one will fall in your lap... I had a chick jumping my bones within a month of adapting that mindset.
