Good news is Horner confirmed they have another floor for Max so will be a like for like part swap. I think the new floor seemed to work in practice as Max's pace was tip top. Let's hope the setup race ready like it was tailored for race in Austria. Weather may be wonky...

The RB20 needs a flexible front wing like the Mercedes and McLaren wing

The Mercedes drivers are no threat for MAX .
But Lando can be a threat . Think Lando will throw himself with another aggressive dive-bomb in between the Merc's .

Yes, I agree on the flexi wings. They should make them so flexible everyone complains giving them an even bigger aero advantage than other teams have. Wache said they have a big upgrade coming soon...the upgrades this week were very minor in nature.

I really wonder if Ham is starting to regret the move to Ferrari? They really look like they are going backwards. At the same time, I think Mclaren is not too far off where Ferrari is - likely to find that an upgrade brings them back a peg or two. I do believe MB will close in on 2nd in the WCC this year.
What will be even funnier is if Max does end up at MB in 2026 and winning there with the contract Ham wanted but that they'd never give him knowing Max is in F1 and Ham is just the MOAT (most overrated of all time).

Why would he regret the decision? Clearly a large part of his decision to actually leave Mercedes is to drive for a the Ferrari brand which is almost every F1 driver’s dream - he probably isn’t leaving for any other team. Hamilton isn’t getting younger and at the end of his career, an 8th championship would still mean something but for anyone in any career, you have dreams and aspirations - Ferrari comes knocking, you just go especially after 7 drivers championships.

If Max goes to Mercedes, Mercedes would pay anything because of age, period. Hamilton is 39 years old, Max is 26, it’s a no brainer who get the big contract. Everything else is just fanboy talk. At the end of the day, F1 is still a business. You think Red Bull regrets the Checo extension with his performance? No, this was clearly a business/monetary decision that needed to be done.

Because of the mishap in Q1, Perez needs to charge again through the field, with all risks of contact and losing time behind others while the frontrunners dash off in the distance with big WCC points.

Rain, safety cars and red flags could save the day (or ruin his day).

If Silverstone would become a zero points race for Perez today, RBR could decide to replace him for the rest of this season in order to improve 2024 WCC title chances: either a 5-month swap with Ricciardo/Tsunoda or promote Liam Lawson.
