Shocking... No, really.
I once tried to kill my brother with a toy weedeater/lawn trimmer when I was about 5... I chased him around the yard and finally caught him. I endded up getting like 5 staples in the back of my head because of my ridiculous wind up that caused me to hit myself in the back of the head. |

Its so hard for me to retain information taught to me in a formal setting, whereas if I read about something interesting on my own time, I'm like a sponge.

I used to ride a lot, I commuted every day on some of the best roads around. After college I moved away from those roads and couldn't really commute on my bike. Weekends were spent wake boarding or snow boarding and the bike just sat there.
When I got back on the bike my brain was still programmed to attack corners at a certain speed, but my reflexes were rusty. Anybody who rides fast and hard knows that there is no time for thinking, it need to be pure smoothe muscle memory or you die, or get hurt badly. I no longer had the time to ride enough to ride well, so I sold the bike and bought a Porsche....it too is gone now. Edit: bikers will want to know. I was/am a Ducati fan, I had a 900SSSP, and my last bike was a 996 Monoposto |

another scar story... I have a ~10-12 inch scar going across my chest. I like to tell people i got cut in a gang fight but in reality when I was ~6-7 we had an inflatable pool and too keep it cleaner we had a "wash bucket" to wash our feet before entering the pool. really it was just a old plastic barrel sawed in half.
long story short, my sister thought it'd be funny to push me off while I was balancing on the edge waiting to jump in and I ended up falling right on the wash bucket hitting the edge with my chest. the scar is curved a bit from the circular edge of the barrel haha |
