A cookie? Hey I called you a flower boy not a flour boy.

Anyway you should get the 'vert. It's easier to chill with the top down.

first thought before i read on this 6 page thread..

WTF are you doing turning at 50mph in a local street with stop signs all over it? i'm glad you got into an accident which will bring up your premium on your insurance.

OP: If the car is totalled whoever bought you the first car should buy you something SLOW and HEAVY. I recall a Car Talk segment where a woman asked whether she should send her daughter off to college in a new Z3. They gave her the verbal bitch slap and said no way, give her a Mercedes Turbo Diesel. Heavy and 0-60 in 10 minutes. No way someone should buy you another car if you drive like this, and certainly not a sports car. If they do and you have another accident that involves yours or someone else's personal injury it's as much their fault as it is yours.

FIRST AND FOREMOST: Glad to hear you and your passenger are ok (love BMW for than just performance). Don't worry about the premiums, its only money, the GREAT news is NOT A SCRATCH on either of you

SECOND: I was laughing my ass off gonzo, you sound like a father telling his kid he can't play with the big gun or wave runner till he can handle the smaller version.......so wrong, yet SO funny

Boo f'n hoo...

I feel no pity for you. Your parents were nice enough to purchase a brand new BMW for you, when you already had a 5 year old BMW which is also a nice car. They trusted you to take care of it and to drive carefully. You drove like an idiot in a residential neighborhood. IF you killed somebody, you would be in jail until you were 18, and then free to go after that. IF you are over 18, then you would see real jail time. Your parents would have been sued, and they would have lost.

Did you stick around to apologize to the guy who lives next to the flower box you hit?

An accident is when you are driving with reasonable care and something freak happens, say a car pulls in front of you or you swerve to avoid a child or an animal. Your incident was a crash caused by poor judgment (careless or reckless driving) and also poor driving skills.

Sorry, you should not drive for a while and you certainly do not have any business driving a fast, expensive car.

Why did you post your incident on this web site?

It's also ridiculous that you weren't cited.

Go drive a Corolla until you show some maturity.

The worst thing your parents could do is let you keep driving that car.
