Small displacement. High revving engines with 70s Era European car reliability.

It would be like rolling the dice every week. I promise you Sauber and Haas would have at least 1 podium a year with these rules.
People say return to V8's, V12's etc but I also liked the twin turbo V6's 1.5's of the eighties giving up to 1500hp in quali like in the Bennetons, then less for the race to be more driveable over the race distance and that's what we need now not this hybrid money drainer.

I heard about the era - I heard that cars could be spitting sideways on full throttle upshifts during quail when it was turned up. Unfortunately I missed out on it...Came around near the middle of Schumacher's era.

I was super bummed when he was beat out by Fernando (it was the end of an era) and PUMPED when I saw Lewis, as a rookie beat out the current world champion.

I just want it to be interesting - this season is close, but we could spice it up a bit more.

so F1 is back. Apparently McLaren have been using differential braking system (thought to be a G force controlled actuator) to help them corner ... which is now banned ...

The BMW M12 was a 1.5L 4 cylinder turbo based on the M10 as seen in 2002 and 318i. It was nuts. 1400hp! I had an e21 320 and later an e30 318i in the 80s with the M10. So I used to tell people it was the same engine as my car.

Wouldn’t you just love to see BMW back in F1. Yes I know it will never happen.

Shame BMW won't be back as you say instead Audi trying their luck to increase sales of EV's with a stab at F1 but all I see is pain for them.

My dad had a 81 320is (sport package, LSD, BBS wheels, Fog lights, etc) with the M10. I had no idea!

Don't think that Marko is sandbagging...
Pierre Waché : We reached the limit with the RB20 , to be competitive again in 2025 we need a complete new car (!)

The Zandvoort weather forecast (update)
A strong wind , up to to 60 kph !

This will affect the cars downforce ....

With regards to what you were saying about a computer prediction, the Top Offshore Sportsbook Supercomputer has predicted that the Larens will win the Constructors while MAX takes the DT.
So with the whole thing seemingly hanging on in Checo's court if he can do somethings without crashing or finishing with just a few points changes his name to Sergio Gamble

This thing about McLaren using a diff based axle swing balance from left to right and vice versa on turns is a bit mysterious.

RB is saying that their car is maxed out - RB might be in trouble for the rest of the season and next.

Checo will run at Zandvoort with the RB20 without the upgrades like in the beginning of this season.
But , I'm pretty sure . Checo will fail again .

I think we'll see only the McLarens and Mercedes at the Zandvoort podium.
The RB20 really s@cks at this moment .
If MAX runs a top-3 , then is it by the MAX-Factor.
It is what it is ....

Probably for his own safety with less chance of him crashing, got to say you paint a pretty grim picture for MAX but Marko did say an improvement may come at Monza.

I can’t wait for this race. My son and I are going through withdrawal. It’s a great track. Let the second half of the season unfold. And what a bloody great season 2024 is.
