Hamilton - the guy with 7 World Championships to his name - one DNF away from 9, the most winningest driver ever, is low on Skill. Through 9 seasons it's going to be a bit more lopsided to Max in wins/podiums/FL.
He has also set records Ham never had the skill to but had a car that should have done so with ease.

Yeah some people have no idea how hard competitive racing is.

There are always some drivers that stand out from the rest.

You can have the best car on the grid, but if your skills aren't up to par, it won't save you.

Perez has the best car on the grid, and he's barely P2.

Out of 15 races this season, pèrez has finished P2 4 times.

Thats absolutely ridiculous considering he's in the best car on the grid.

That absolutely defeats the "it's the car" for Max.

You should be minimum P2 in that car every race at least.



Also AmuroRay, stop making everything about race, I under you love Hamilton and he hasn't won a race for almost 3 years, but it's not about race, it's about how when everyone was started over in 2022, Mercedes showed their true colors when they didn't have any advantage like they did when the hybrid era happened.

Last year Ferrari had the better car until the TD hit and RB ran away with the championship. Hell, the races were all close as well.

Definitely not what I said, no need to put words in my mouth. I'm not here to disparage Hamilton.

Keep in mind, in Hamilton's rookie season, he was 22. Verstappen was 17. There's a lot of growth and maturity happening in those 5 years. They both won their first world championship at about age 24.... Alonso and Vettel were 23/24 as well. Max has a long career left ahead of him.
