the bands are the workout bands that i think you can get through beachbody. however, there are numerous different bands out there that you can use. i think even Target or Walmart sells workout bands. |

Everyone has different aspirations when it comes to working out. How many months out of the year are you in your competition physique? I teeter on the edge of wanting to maximize my muscle gain, but i am not sure about the dedication. We will continue this are the 193's come to play. Also, P90x works just as well as your workout program. |

im sure u can get shreeded on p90x whatever, but i just did a vid of me doing 130 lb dumbells, thats yrs of lifting in my book, sep when not taking juice and being "light weight"
my typical back n chest day warm up 15-20 min light back n chest ex then: (i always change things up all the time, but this is typical.. i also go according to how i feel) incline dumbells, 4 sets 55, 75, 100, 10 reps each (then sometimes 120-130) back wide grip pullup 3-4 sets 10 reps each, full range(sometimes strap 45 plate on) straight bar machine 3 sets back cable row (wide or close grip) 3-4 sets incline dumbell flies 3 sets dumbell rows or lats on bench, pull over machin (one of the three) 3 sets cable crossover for chest 3-4 sets then wide grip behind the neck... then prob done depending on how i feel.. im really not dieting now.. like 3000 calories a day of good food, still eating ice cream though and pasta. 250 grams pro a day i think,, really not counting at all, just eating every 3-4 hrs.... i'll get a vid later and post a link done from my fone so u guys can see whhat i look like now thanx for positive comments (ps, i dont want to sound like an ass, but this p90 x thing is another late trend, and all these out of shape people are doing it... listen, workout eat right and do it yr round for the most part... its as simple as that, no trix)

Anyhow so you are admitting that your workout and p90x both work how they are intended to. Albeit what you do is to gain mass while p90x is to reduce fat. Did you or Honda think that i meant p90x would get you into bodybuilding shape? I feel that you think it is a trick or trend because you know what you are doing. Of course it seems that way when it is being sold on an infomercial, but some of us just want to add another routine to our schedule. I believe that i will be going for maximum everything on my next routine. |

If anything I'm more interested in what you eat when dieting. I'm 5'6, just one inch shy of ur height so it could help me gauge the amount of calorie/protein/good fats/carbs I need to intake per day. I have a rough idea but it'd be nice to have something a little more concrete I do agree with one thing you said tho, p90x is sorta of a late trend. I've started doing back 3 years ago. Now I incorporate the best exercises from that program into my own exercise regiment. But hey, if p90x helps people wanting to get into shape and be healthy, all the power to the product! |

when i actually diet a lil more strict i do: 200 minimum carbs a day (brown rice, sweet potato, oatmeal) 30-50 healthy grams of fat..] and around 200+pro cardio 5 days a week on empty stomach early morning... there really is so much to know and what you can get away with... esp what kind of work u do and so on.. in the summer i do landscaping and construction + lifting 10 + hrs a day... rest of the time im a teacher

Yeah, p90x is def a trendy thing to do, but it works. Not sure if its because the program switches up and keeps it interesting or what, but it seemed to catch on. There are a million videos out there that people can do that would give a result if followed.
I, personally, hate going to the gym. I'm just not into working out and feel out of place especially with all the meat heads up here in my gym. It's way more time working out than I want to put into my day with the drive and all. Plus, I never get as good of a workout if I'm not being pushed in some manner, hence the need for Tony the turd. Goofy guy, but I'm diggin it so far on week #3! I mean, I just want to not be uncomfortable at the beach, and have a successful mud run this year - that is all really.
