Decent lights to flag win for MV...job well done.
I guess Mercedes went for quite a low power engine and battery mode to preserve Bottas in second place in the DWC.
But OMG get rid of that track...every year its the most boring race on the calendar.
Struggled to stay awake especially after last weeks excitement.

Albon still struggles to drive the RB16 with low downforce to get a higher topspeed on the straights .

Yesterday I posted MAX's P1 QF lap . Others said it looked easy ..
But it was NOT , MAX P1 lap was more like "everything or nothing"
A lot of steering corrections were required to keep the RB16 on a straight line .
Coming out of the corners , MAX had to fight with the rear of the car , by the lack of downforce !
Actually his lap was like Russian Roulette ... It deserves a lot of respect !
But he won the game !

I saw from FormulaMMM's vid of Max's Q1 time with the telemetry of how he was juggling the brake and gas in those turns. F1M have now switched it off

so should i go with the same approach we ve seen million times over these boards by Red Bull fanboys?

by the assist of having the fastest car on this weekend, Max won the GP quite comfortably that even said you can turn the engine down on the radio.. even not approved by Red Bull fanboys Albon was 4th getting closjng each lap to Hamilton.. any driver in Red Bull could win this weekend...

i wont go down that road cause its just tragicomical..

well done to Max and Red Bull.. this weekend they were quick and Merc' MGUK problem gave them a better advantage and they were just better as a whole.. nice team work and seeing Albon 4th probably boosted his motivation if he ll stay in RB next year.. i guess there ll be some talks in Honda about if they should ve stayed in F1.. well ending with a victory is a perfect way to say goodbye..

aside from Merc's MGUK problem, i didnt know that Lewis had affected this much from covid physically.. seeing such top-notch athletes affected this much made me rethink how this virus is serious..

its superb to see Norris snatching some nice points this weekend that he seems enjoyed this weekend probably more than the first A1 GP.. next year will see that funny and positive kid more often on TV i believe..

and whoever decides the strategies in Ferrari.. i dont want to sound arrogant or something but i have no idea how he keeps his job or how no one tells something logical not even smart to do some right moves.. keeping Leclerc that long on those tires is just trying to hang on to a dream world...
right now probably Vettel feels pretty light though since he is done with Ferrari..

as they ve said 96 days.. doesnt sound that small but much much better than previous years for the next season..

I was thinking of doing the same but hopefully they will emulate proper sporting behavior when they see it.

Given that Mercedes hasn't developed the car in 3-5 months and we've had so many AMG engine failures, I'm very pleased with this result for Mercedes and the fact that the dev on the 2021 car started months ago and ramped up 3-5 months ago.

I'd say this was true up to 2016. The loss to ROS changed everything. He finished 2017, 2018 and 2019 pretty strongly.

Over here a Santa Claus (over here It's actually "Sinterklaas") visited a retirement home .
Meanwhile , pretty much everyone (75 people) ended up with COVID in the hospital , because Sinterklaas was a super-COVID spreader , while he tested negative at that moment .
