And yet you drive a 328i, which is a lower line of BMW.

This reminds me of a Porsche Boxster ( no S ) owner bashing on how horrible BMW 3series is.

I went to look at the Genesis this morning. They only had the 6 bangers and said the 8 would be a few more months. Outside..meh. Nothing spectacular but still attractive. The interior..nice. Very comfortable seats, lots of room and the dash passed my bang it with a closed fist test. Very solid feeling and sounding. Heated and cooled seats...very nice.
Bottom line w/o driving. Good value for the money from what I saw.

I'll write a full report later but I also checked out the Genesis this weekend and was VERY impressed!

PS: Test drove too!

Be wary of a car company that sells one aspect of a vehicle via advertising. It usually means they skimped in other places.

With a BMW you get a great engine, power train, brakes, steering, seats, and suspension. All components are top of the line and designed to perform under extreme conditions.

BMW's are all about overall performance.

Like how BMW skimped on iDrive and HPFP?

Well of course it is not a BMW. It also does not carry BMW's high price. For 40K people can get into a solid car with mucho amenities and a strong warranty. The Alan Greenspan types will be all over it while the Donald Trump types will be on the BMW if you will. The car will appeal to people who could care less what the badge is IMO.

I'm sorry, but I may be one of the few who think like this when I say if I want luxury I'll buy it when I can afford it (German), but if I can't afford it I'll stick with a utility-driven car.

Bottom line: I believe it's contradicting when you drive a Hyundai luxury car.

Awesome, IMO. Competition is fantastic.

The E46 got smacked around a bit by the G35, and we ended up with a 335 that performs on par with the last M3, heh.

What is not to believe? The data it is not just made up. So the Land Rover line could in fact be better in initial quality than Porsche?

Actually, these.

Luxury is not a brand, it is the components that make up the brand and this car has all the components of a luxury vehicle. German does not equate to instant luxury.
