I am in a weird situation myself...

33 (next week) years old with a 7 year old kid. 50/50 custody thing. And I DJ, so I do spend time in the clubs....

All girls over 30 are pretty much ready to settle down, have kids, over-the-whole-club-and-bar-thing-sorry-i-tried-it-before-and-its-just-not-my-thing and happily ever after on top if that. For to them, me being a DJ is a turnoff, because people not familiar with the "job" think its nothing but non-stop party. Plus no one really wants a guy with a kid from another woman and a monthly child support payment, if you can easily find one without. Welcome to California.

For younger chicks being a DJ does not really matter, they even like it, BUT to them I am way too fucking old AND I have a kid....
