My legs hurt, I cough like I'm on my death bed, I have no voice, I sprained my ankle while opening a milk carton, and I have reached the temperature of 36.5C (97.7F) which is by all standards considered totally normal human temperature, for me this is dying of a fever.

Nah...they love those calls for service. It's a good break from people trying to stab or shoot them and makes for good call logs.

Hahaha, that is true, and I imagine it would've been difficult for them to take it seriously when the car in question is yellow, in from of a school and waiting for the damn sos person to pick up the phone again. Naturally I had left my wallet with my muddy jacket at home.

But I almost wish they had sent a patrol there, cuffed me and dragged me in my glorious state to the station. That would've limited the play dates for sure since nothing else has worked!

I am in bed, I just can't sleep since I am dying of this horrible manflu. I swear to coffee I'm the most pathetic patient in the world.

That's not something they would want to do if they had a choice. If there's not a separate transpo van to haul your ass to jail, it takes a unit out of the field, pre-booking record, property inventory receipts, in field show up report for the witnesses, vehicle report, intake screening report, victim advisement, then the nice drive to jail for further processing. But hey, it would make a good story! "I once got a call about a stolen vehicle. The owners kid has pressed the SOS button, and the owner went to the trunk to fetch the manual to figure out how to shut it down while the center answered, so cops were sent because there were no answer from her. Turns out it was a female who had spent the afternoon hunting frogs, and while she put her dogs out off the car her son decided to try the button mom had said not to touch. We chased her to the school pick up zone while she was texting to an other driver how to shut the damn thing off. Arresting the muddy mess happened in from of the principal and Prius drivers"

The best thing was in all this that while putting the dogs into the house and removing my shoes and the muddy coat, I was never more than 5 meters away from the vehicle. Damn kiddo works fast.

hahaha, yeah, see the situation had all the potential in the world!

But damn, I pulled into the garage, opened my door, let out the dogs and closed the door to the house after them, took off my shoes and a jacket. 30 seconds tops, and i never left the garage, we were cutting it close for our pick up run anyway. While I was doing that, the tiny man opens his seatbelt, reaches to the button from back seat and goes back to his seat.

Yeah, I think fire will be the option I will take to that damn button.
