You need not be concerned about this because you aren't getting either...

This is holy grail of Rolex... but white for sure. I've been on a list for 4 years.

4 years?! Jeez do you own any other Rolexes? From what I understand Daytona is for VIP buyers only? Not sure if true.

I owned Rolex Daytona 16650 LN 002 in layman's terms the black dial . I like white dial too , but the black is still my favorite over white

I have a few watches and 2 rolexes. I got a Daytona and it was a little wait to get the one I wanted with the face I wanted - around 6 months. Relationship with the AD matters. I’ve referred people and they are still waiting. It’s all about past purchase and frequency. They reward “Good” customers. And No, I’ve never purchased a watch just to get in line. I’ve been asked that too. I wanted it bc I like the watch. It’s the only one of my high end watches I’ve been asked to sell right off my wrist. Many times. They are hard to get.

It seems to me to be just a joke in general and they definitely have preferred VIP Clients. I bought a sub from one place and told them to put me on the list for a Daytona and got my name etc... I consistently check in and no chance... my dad at his local AD does as well.

Those lists aren't real because they know they will sell one in about 5 seconds if it becomes available, ultimately it comes down to how close you are with the AD...

You get close by buying more watches. When supply it tight they reward past patronage. Yes being a good customer helps but good customers to deal with factors into that as well. We purchase items other than watches. He is a full service Jeweler.

In all fairness I did get my Daytona just at the beginning of the madness.

Relationships are important. Got a call from my AD last summer and he gave me first shot at a Rolex Root Beer. The watch was never on my radar. Needless to say.... I went right over for the buy. Don't be picky I say... Lol

Nice choice, I think you don't have to wait too long when Rolex releases something an "unobtanium watch" judging by your relationships

Since i'm combining a Blue F31 and a Black F80, only the BLNR would do.

Thanks to GME for funding this watch, and part of the project!
I feel super fortunate that my good buddy who owns a jewelry store let me cut the line for this one.
