MAX is last man in and has all this directly in front of him.
He has no excuse that he couldn't see it and still makes a kamikaze dive into the side of RAI!

The reason there was no penalty is until very recently stewards were letting all 1st lap incidents go; especially 1st corner.

It is a very recent development that this has changed, and was at the request of the drivers, precisely because of the kind behaviour MAX exhibited here.

Again they don't talk about Max driving after this incident with obviously broken steering/no control. He almost takes out multiple other drivers, most notably Kimi again who is flying up Eau Rouge (a very dangerous corner). No penalty for that idiocy either.

You know when FIA eventually penalizes Max, suddenly they'll be wrong in that instance for some here.............
