Gotta give some credit to a seriously undermanned Philly team. Especially losing your QB in first quarter and battled to the end. Showed a lot of grit.

This is my problem with the NFL. Every play is now reviewed by a Doctor and a Lawyer. They took Wentz out of the game for concussion protocol. The hit didn't look any worse than any lineman takes in the helmet on any normal play. As a coach, you now have no control over what personnel you can put on the field of play.

The Lawyers now have every runner just running off the sidelines rather than take a hit to gain additional yards. The game really sucks to watch now. It's kind of like basketball.

since he didnt get knocked unconscious on the play, chances are he said something to the coaches/Drs or was acting odd on the sideline.

Hell, even when dudes get knocked out they dont always get taken out of the game.

It was a good hit to the back of the head, that then slammed his head into the ground. Easy to see how an injury prone qb would be concussed from that.

Good thing is, since Wentz barely played, I dont think this loss counts against him, so Eagles fans can still say hes never lost in the playoffs. Glad they paid him so much. He needs it for all the doctor bills.

Interesting hire for The Boys. I like it, but not quite sure what to think at the moment. I think most Cowboy or as you reference us cowgirl fans

were probably hoping for Urban Meyer, but with this hire one can only assume that his resume was the reason for the hiring. Only time will tell, but let's just see how that translates in Jerry's world. Hopefully McCarthy will have a bit more control over the team.

I'm a fan.

He is said to have brought in a full staff of analysts, scouts, coaches, etc to help him modernize and adapt his playbook and offensive schemes to better suit the NFL of today. It was also announced he is bringing on a 14 person analytics team for help with in game play calling.

What makes me weary of him is this tweet though... What did they do? Eat Ice Cream and talk about boys all night?
