I had the 335i with 4 HPFP replacements. I lemon'ed it. I only had my 2006 E90 325i for a year, so I didn't find a problem with it then. My 2011 E92 M3 now has had some issues with the DCT, but nothing all that terrible. The engine runs strong, and I beat the hell out of it.

I hope the M4 won't be a headache like the 335i when I get it.

Oh well amazingly enough all the bimmers that have gone through my family never had any major issues and all of them are still running today. Even my father's e30 3er still starts right away. As for the dealerships that varies a lot. The first dealer was simply ignorant and ran the company more or less like a grocery store while the second was truly complete opposite-professional and informative though he sort of did want to impose what the car would eventually be like. Also when my car got damaged by dump truck in february this year the service i got was more than ok though it took them a bit longer than i wished to get the car all finished. As for this italian dude well i don't know what to say that m6 with its v10 engine is simply unreplaceble. They won't built something like it ever again

In the mean time I am stuck with a resprayed (paint bubbled), fluid leaking, numerously taken apart interior, infested with rattles, electrical problem prone...."ultimate driving machine"

If I could afford the consequences that come with an action like this I would do it!! They should start taking care of their loyal customers that support their brand, not the BS that we have to deal with. Actions speak louder than words.
Agree, BMWNA just refuse to cover my case, pw pully hit the subframe AKA SIB 11 09 08, which some other people are get covered. I am having enough with them, this will be my first also the last BMW.

I could not believe he stuck his head thru the broken window. I would not risk getting cut even with tempered glass.

Obviously more $ than brain.

That is the point, they cannot fix the car under warranty. This is more frustrating than paying to fix the car that is out of warranty. BMW brakes the contract of warranty, this is shown to the public. Thank God in US we have lemon law, I went through one hearing and started hating BMW even more.

That's awesome! I would do the same thing if bmw or another company wouldn't help or fix the issues. I understand his frustration He did the right thing imo.

I wonder if BMW has contacted him now that the video has gone viral. BMW should have responded to him sooner or bought the car back

But in situations like this and I don't know the exact situation here .
Sometimes there appears to be more ongoing than the owner is letting on when venting on a forum.

Some used to send me their problems via Forums which I have stopped doing because I will tell you why. Because on further investigation , solutions have been offered but refused with many not even contacting the dealer with a response. Some are also self- inflicted in regards to voiding their warranty.

Your first port of call and upmost responsibility lies with the dealership , they are responsible for the sale of your vehicle and its servicing. Then it will be referred to the distributor , only special cases would be taken straight to BMW AG but your distributor would intervene with your dealer in order to work to a solution.
Agreed.
When a company sells - milions of - mass products and employs such a large workforce there's always gonna be a case of things gone wrong. It's inevatible.
Plus no matter how hard you try, you cannot reason with the customer from hell
