So, mine is going to have to make that journey in an even more compressed time frame to meet week 36 production schedule. Oh trust me, If you get that 540 before me, I know imma hear about it. lol.
Well, So it makes youfeel better. I got the stats. Mine went to 150 on Jul 30th. Still shows Prod week as Week 36 (First week Sept), and delivery expected Week 40 (2nd Week Oct) Unfortunately, I will be in Benicia, CA from Oct 7th to the 17th. So, even if the car is ready, I will not be in town to take delivery. So that gives you a couple extra weeks to catch up. Lol. However due to Spanish registration, the way it works, once the car arrives I have to apply for registration, and that takes at least 2 weeks. I'm hoping I can do the paperwork before I leave, and it will be ready upon my return.

Mine also went to 150 on July 30th, with a WK 36 production and am being told WK39 delivery - although that is delivered to the dealer - so I am not expecting them to be able to PDI it etc for September 28th which would be the weekend of that delivery week.

If not I will collect the following Friday due to work commitments.

That is if the delivery doesn't slip - going from production in WK 36 to delivery to the UK dealer in WK39 seems super quick to me, can only imagine I am getting lucky with the boat timings I suspect if production slips at all I will miss the boat and it will have a multi week delay at the port.

Hmm. I guess my extra week is because it takes longer to get to southern Spain from Germany on a truck, than ship to Wales. I'm hoping I can get the registration process going as soon as the Aduanas paperwork comes in, or if I need to wait for the physical vehicle to be here?

Benicia is such a cute area. I use to go up there for some of the restaurants with friends. I use to live in Walnut Creek/Concord when I lived in the East Bay and worked with John Muir Health.

I just placed the order with week 39 build. I am ended up going with the lease route due to the rebate and uncertainty surrounding the EVs. I was able to talk my dealer into knocking 11% off MSRP before the rebates and .00160 MF.

*GASP* I have a VIN. The Universe is no longer toying with my inner child.

The BMW Gods have reached down from the firmament, and said unto the factory, "Let there be a 540, in carbon black with smoke white veganza, and may it tear across the highways of the Midwest"

Update: I checked the status with the Google Chrome extension add on, and it lists my production date as 2024-09-10. Okay, I do have a question about this, as I've seen conflicting information about this (even in the same forum thread!). Is this the date where BMW considers it "Completed" or is this the day that it "Starts".

The day that assembly is completed is the production date.

I hope that's correct. My 550e is still in status 150 with a production date of 8-30. That's this Friday, folks. Let's get this rolling.

I ordered my 550e on week 30 (7/26).
My order went into status 150 on week 31 (7/31).
I have a production date on week 36 (9/5).

I don't have concrete vessel information yet, but my research so far/prediction is it will hopefully get on TUGELA on week 37 on 9/15 and come into port in Baltimore, ND on week 39 (9/25).

Fingers crossed this sticks.

All good .Admittedly I’m guessing my later date is due to individual paint. Or maybe there is significant demand?

Thanks for this! Assuming this is a recent schedule, I think it's unlikely my 9/10 Production date would make a 9/12 ship. So, I'm going to bank on either September 16th or 19th to Baltimore.

Not sure how long the VSC/Transport would be from Baltimore to Ohio. It sounds like it's lining up for the week of October 7th. I have to make a whirlwind trip to California that week, so it might have to wait for me, instead of me waiting for the G60. Earliest I'd be able to pick it up is the 11th.

I’ll have to Google this chrome trick to see my production date.

MiGs550e Thanks for that table of shipping options!

We don't have the online BMW Garage here in the UK we can only add our VIN's to the app so can't do the production date Chrome trick, but I am still on for WK36 production.

I think as long as production happens next week as planned I will start to get excited that I will be collecting it on the 28th of September!

I think I will be on TITUS rather than TUGELA going by my expected delivery date which stops in Southampton en route.

Being on TITUS would give them 5 days to move the car about in Southampton or whatever they need to do before the first day of my expected delivery week to the dealer! (WK39)

Congratulations! 🍾 There’s a Google chrome extension that’s published you can add to your browser. It’ll quickly show you your production date.

I really don't know exactly what the chrome trick is. I have not searched for posts. However I used safari and web inspect. I wonder if you in UK can proxy your IP from a US IP and access/create a mygarage account and enter your production number or VIN there to get the some useful results. From what I can tell the system being queried for all that info hidden or not hidden is coming out of a resource in Germany any way.
