Unfortunately PIA has been moved back for a track infringement, very strict here and it caught Checo out too and puts the Russel boy and Hammy behind Max which is not great for Sunday and as usual Max has to have himself as a rear gunner also. The only consolation is that RUS wants to finish the race on the podium so shouldn't try anything rash at the start but Hammy could.

Exactly my thoughts, could be the PU's were stretched too much at Monza and Fred is evening the wear rate out to get to the end, as been said maybe #Ferrari things which he's not explaining fully.

I get the safety thing!!! But put a small strip of grass or sand between the track and runoff area. Then they won't go out there...Or pay the price if they do.

I thought he hit the wall out of anger. That was said on tv. It was hard to see.

That Stroll is very sour during interviews when things don't go his way is well known. Look at last year
In that regard he's the opposite of Latifi, who was always very nice during interviews, even when things went really bad (pretty much all the time )

Clearly Stroll's disappointed and has himself to blame.
He's my least favorite driver (character wise)

Regarding the trainer: if he can withstand being Lance Stroll's trainer, I'm sure he can also withstand this little incident...

Stroll Jr. is not dumb and he knows he needs to be replaced, hence his frustration. He also knows it's going to get worse if he's not. Question is will he be replaced? Stroll Sr. is a shrewd Businessman and there's a point where he too has to do the right thing business wise.

Pirelli discovered tire delamination and side wall damage , caused by the sharp curbs !

An extra free practice is planned to see how it goes with the tires and new track limits are planned ..
(some track limits will be changed)! to avoid more tire damage...
Today the sprint race gets a 30 min. delay !

Throughout the Qatar race :
Every car in the race is (mandatory)! obliged to do 3 pitstops and to get 3 times new tires ..

Yesterday they delete the fast qualifying lap times from Norris and Piastri for exceeding the track limits .
And today they changed the track limits ..WTF ?!?!
The FIA regulations and the Qatar track curbs really s@ck !

Interesting shootout. McLaren all on the front row. Max 3rd.

Exceeding track limits are of course drivers errors, but as the stewards have no means to react directly to them (no automated system), I fear lots of chaos for the sprint and main race tomorrow.
