I'm not understanding LeClerc at this point. He wasn't even close to keeping up with Vettel's pace. For a rookie, his ego seems to be that of a multiple world champ.

"When asked if he could understand why Vettel didn’t want to keep to the deal, Binotto replied:'Yeah, I think because anyway, he got such a good start, he overtook Hamilton very soon - even before Turn 1 - so probably in his mind, which is probably right, it wasn’t Charles giving him the slipstream, he took simply the slipstream as he was in that position.'"

"the rookie Leclerc" you guys are blaming was leading in points and has 19 more points than Vettel right now.. Leclerc has more than everyone, 5 pole positions this season to Vettel's 1.. and more podium finishes..

Ferrari were protecting themselves at the start. Could you imagine if LC defended like hell and the two came together.... much like Lewis and nico. This way they managed it but still backfired....mainly as Lewis didn't get a good start. Nevertheless the deal was made and typical vettel ignores team orders again!
LC is the future for Ferrari. |

What Ferrari tried to do with its drivers today is nothing compared to what Mercedes did to Bottas last year.

It is unlikely at this stage that one of the red drivers will pass Ham in the points unless something out of the ordinary happens, so Ferrari are concentrating on wins as Ham is inching in on Schumi's tally.

LEC will probably take two more wins this year. But I don't see Vet taking any.
And there won't be any more pre-race agreements - because neither are going to stick to the deal. just instructions to not take each other out. Next year, Vet will have #1 status, but we all know that now means nothing. F1 is a bit more interesting again. |

Sundays are where the points are not Saturdays. HAM or VET, one of them was going to overtake LEC at torn 2 no matter what. If you're not a cry baby you let your teammate go, keep up with him, build a gap to the Mercs, and if it's ok then you swap. Not go on the radio on a hissy fit. Same thing in Singapore, he backed everyone and when VET pitted he made up more than 3 seconds in one lap. LEC wants to lead every lap, set the pace and fuck Vettel because now hE iS tHE nEXt SChumaCHer 🤡

Seb is unlikely to get a grid penalty at Suzuka as he has a spare penalty safe MGU-K from earlier.
Masi the Race Director congratulated Seb for parking the car up immediately in such a position that it could easily be pulled back into their 'hole' seing the danger that it could have been live because of loss of insulation. |

Have been listening to a couple of podcasts about the Ferrari race in Sochi.
now the 2 Ferrari drivers will be playing each other with the under-cut, which all the other teams will need to keep in mind with the timing of their own pit stops. So just because a Ferrari driver is calling out his tires are shot, doesn't mean it's true. |

In the end I think they deserved 1-2. That is, Ferrari deserved the Mercedes 1-2.
