Chodan. Impressive. I wonder how this korean/japanese style differs from the chinese/japanese-derived kempo. Do you have to learn a weapon for your test? Good luck!

LOL! Yeah I really did cry. Part of me was crying cause there was no godfather IV to look forward too

whos pitching for the pads on opening night? i have to say petco field has to be the best stadium, EVER. and when is the bring-your-pets-to-the-game night?

oh and heres one more thing about me:

i am addicted to gum. not just any gum. green wrigley's orbit gum. durning my finals in college, 10 mins before class started, i ran out of gum. so i drove off campus - the student store didnt have any - and was late to my final. and i always pack a pack of gum per day im leaving for somehwhere and i have a emergancy extra pack just in case. im ALWAYS chewing gum, if its not appropriate to be chewing i put it in between my gums, like chew. hell i even chew gum w/ my beer.

Peavy's pitching.. Im not sure when the next bring your pet to petco is. I heard that they made the outfield a little smaller, they closed it in. Its a good pitching stadium-but hardly any big hits.

I don't know enough about Kempo to compare...TSD is similar to Shotokan karate in several respects, though there's more emphasis on foot techniques with high kicks. Although we have tournaments, it isn't as sport focused as Tae Kwon Do. The advanced forms have more flowing and graceful moves, similar to Chinese styles. Our school teaches Haidong Gumdo (Korean sword) as a seperate discipline altogether. We have weapons training available (e.g. Bo Staff), but are not encouraged to study that until at least Red Belt (3rd Gup or higher). It is not a requirement for advancement.

While I could be taking my test this spring, I'm getting arthroscopy done on my knee. It's been bothering me for a year. I want to be 100% at test time, or close to it, instead of limping into it and maybe passing because the masters respect my previous effort. In other words, I want to perform well and not slide by. Resting the knee is killing me, though, cuz I miss the Dojang badly.

Is your Kempo like Joe Lewis's style?
Godfather III was my least favorite, but still I enjoy the movie more each time I watch it, and it kicks Goodfellas' ass.

I love my job.

I work in radio but know one I tell knows what the hell I do and how great the income is.

I used to be afraid at night when I first bought my house, but I'm not anymore.

I figure, what's gonna get me and if they'll only do it at night, then they're a punk ass and no one's afraid of a punk ass?

I check my locks on my house 3 times also before I go to bed. Plus unlock and lock my car to make sure the alarm is on.

I love my new car! It's f#$king bad ass. I had my old 1990 325is for 12 years and kept it as part of my collection of... 2 cars now.

I love all types of music, even country. Part of the job.

I've met several rock stars, movie stars and athletes, they come to the station all the time and I even met Ron Jeremy. LOL

James Blunt is coming to the station to perform tomorrow. Gonna ask him about his chick from the song...

I was engaged to a German woman that I met in Spain last year, but not anymore.

I very rarely eat dinner.

I can't kill anything either... Take the bugs outside. OK... Just sugar ants.

I'm probably older than most of you here.

Enough already...

Sorry to hear about your knee bro. You are doing the smart thing to wait.

My instructor was partly trained by Nick Cerio (one of the kempo fathers). His website is http://www.corpbasics.com/boot%20camp8.html if you are interested.

Wow, someone else here who does Tang Soo Do? It's such a small martial art that I didn't think that many people practiced it. I did it for about 9 years in college. Can't find a studio around here to continue, though.

We would often spar with students from other disciplines at school. Us Tang Soo Do people were always the most balanced fighters.

I don't drink anything with alcohol. It's not that I can't handle it (I'm a fairly big guy), but I have never liked the taste.

I don't drink coffee either, also because of the taste. The last time I had a cup of coffee was in 1992 (and I hated it then, too).

LOL! Alot of women hate this....I think, it reminds them of their dad growing up....walking around in boxers/shorts and socks.

I can't sleep with socks on either though...feels constrained.

I think my dogs balls are cute.

I've never had a cup of coffee or tea in my life.

I loathe anime and was going to kill my roomate in college when he dressed up as pikachu when it wasn't halloween

For some reason I still remember my last saved game from Castlevania II for the Nintendo from like 1987. If someone still has it try UFHDF3BWY2VLTTAV

I like when my girlfriends have very nice feet.

I hate fishing because I dislike sandworms and mealy worms and I cut my finger on a fish's spine when I was a child. I have not fished since I was around 12 years old.

At a boyscout camp before my fishing incident we were fishing at a stocked pond and my tri hook lure got stuck in a tree. When I pulled at it with my fishing pole the tri hook flung back, one hook stuck in my nose, one in my ear and one in my cheek. I proceeded to panic.

My mother is my best friend.

Although I like EDM, Latin and other musics I have theme songs in mp3 form including the Gummi Bears. I laughed when someone downloaded the mp3 from me and then I realized I had it myself and hung my head in shame.

I obsess with organizing my desktop and the folders on my computer. Everything in lined up in a specific order and my mp3 collection is very organized including keeping a list of the files.
