Okay this is the situation... Too much info was posted and it got the attention of BMW. In a lame attempt to deflect attention a certain poster posts confliciting info to try to get some heat off his back. That does not work so in a panic this thread is made. That is all I have to say.

The engine specs and other things Speedfreak and Tine came up with weren't exactly fairytales imho. A 335i IS due and it's closer than we think. Specs? Dunno(direct injection for sure and I think a biturbo 3.0 from what I HAVE READ in auto motor und sport, a german car mag)

That is what it sounds like to me... I went back through Tines posts and he used to name his source (S26 - BMW insider who routinely posts inside info on the net). S26 is very well respected for having accurate info. My guess is S26 gave speed some details in confidence and Tine went running his mouth... This may have comprimised S26's position with BMW. BMW also may have threatened Tine with legal action. Now Tine is trying to do damage control but is only making the situation worse.
