Don't think it looks better in real life, just all the shiny bits are better blended in with that particular color. Dark colors will make the car look better than lighter, i.e. Black, Grey will look better than White, Silver, etc.

Or OP seen pics of the real car and wonders what we think? - in that case these pics are worse than most pics Ive seen, at least car looks worse in them.

I think the car looks to upraised and FWD-ish in the design. The old 5-series looks more "heavy and down to the ground". It doesent help with the non-concave wheels either. I miss the old days where BMW used 5x120 and the OEM wheels was concave and had good fitment. I think this is the worst 5-series ever - not just about the design but with cost cutting elements as well. Disappointing.

I don’t think this think looks pretty at all. Not great design at all however after latest Bmw creations I did not expect good looking car. For me this Looks too tall and cumbersome.
