Check out Nordstrom Rack at Legacy Village. They might have something like what you're looking for, but for a better price than elsewhere.

Real-The Royal Navy issused Rolex Submariners to members of the SBS. These watches wore nylon NATO bands. Link showing brief history of the Royal Navy Rolex. http://www.ginault.com/Rolex/Military-Submariner.html Movies- James Bond(Connery) often wore his Submariner on a NATO and is visible in the movies. There are a couple of great stills showing so. Heres just two. Last edited by NYC6; 05-07-2011 at 11:47 AM.. Reason: added link |

4 months ago I traded in my JLC Master Reveil for this one, PAM 320:
But my daily deskdiver atm is this one(I traded in my 2008 DeepSea for this 116610LN) I'm looking for a PAM 233(am/pm, not the dots) or 270 but they're still rather expensive... |

Tag Heure Calibre 36. It's really disapointing because it clashes with everything I wear, but beautiful to stare at engineering wise. I'm going to get a Breitling next.

What kind of watch? Rolex authorized service, done at a RSC is over $500 @ 5-7 year interval I believe. From what I hear is they do a stem to stern job and remove all scratches, new waterproof gaskets, lubrication and send you back a brand new looking watch. Havent done mine yet, another 2 years it will be due.

Note, too, that you could also get a watch and pick up a separate steel band that you could swap out. You can pick up a springbar tool (if you want) to help remove the pins to get the watch strap off for pretty cheap.

Seiko Sportura:
Hamilton Jazzmaster Auto Chrono (not my pic): Lum-Tec Combat B8 I'd also have a Portofino Chronograph in my small collection but I recently spent my timepiece monies on new camera gear instead. Oh well. As long as you're happy with it, it doesn't matter.
