That is spot on my friend and explains why wolff is on the edge of reason now with his behaviour knowing he made the blindingly wrong decision in the lull between Latifi's off and the restart.
It's not known if he'll be considering his position with the team now and the onus will now be on Wolff what he'll be doing rather than Masi who did nothing wrong at the end.

As per the FIA regulations a WDC winner can choose #1 for the next year. Vettel was the last to do that (2014). Hamilton preferred to keep #44. Rosberg quit after his championship title.

But if someone else becomes 2022 WDC, the winner can take over #1 and Verstappen gets back to #33.

So don't stash that #33 apparel away yet.
