If you are happy to pay more for refinement just go buy a Porsche. Given its 50k rumored price tag, why not just pay a little more for a M2 or a cayman ?This car is just a cheapo pathetic attempt to milk people using the Supra name. If you really want refinement and do track days how the hell is your choice a +50,000 toyota badge Z4 and not an M2 ? |

It makes a comfortable daily driver that I can take to the track occasionally. But right now I'm doing track days on my motorcycle, much cheaper and even more fun 😁 Honestly the reason I don't have a Porsche Cayman is I love having back seats. The flexibility of having them come in handy too often. The last time I tracked a car was when I had my 2015 Corvette Z51. That was an absolute blast. I did the Ron fellows Corvette school in Nevada and loved it. |

The interior pieced together. It looks a little boring. :/ Hoping maybe the real thing will look a bit better.

Yes the supra is going to be similar to a z4 but it's suspension and engine tuning will be different and that can make a huge difference. Let's not even start on the fact the z4 is a convertible and the Supra is a coupe Last edited by tennisfreak; 10-07-2018 at 07:05 PM.. |

Well, I am off the Supra bandwagon, for now. Maybe if the rumored hybrid comes out and is something special I'll have another look. I can't believe they're actually releasing a rebadged z4 with a body kit on it. The car just doesn't seem special anymore. If I wanted to buy a BMW I know where to go to get one, and it's not on a Toyota lot. |

Funny comment to that article: Supra fans: The 2019 Supra is a BMW parts bin car! BMW: You’re welcome. BMW refuse to make a Z4 M coupe replacement. Last edited by hellrotm; 10-09-2018 at 12:30 AM.. |

I’m genuinely curious how it compares to the Nismo 370z. The 7AT 370z Nismo runs 12.9 - 13.1 at 109 -110 stock and will probably cost 15-20k less (although the drivetrain is not as refined and has a SLA front suspension).

The steering wheel looks like shit with that huge fat middle spoke. I wish they'd put less buttons on the damned wheels these days.
