DC, I saw your GBH pic on my Flickr feed. Before I even scrolled down to see whose picture it was, I knew it was yours. I can't put my finger on it, but your shots have a distinct style that's recognizable. That's a great shot.

Yeah I hear them at my house too, but I have never seen one there. This guy was nicely in plain sight near the visitor center at Drakes Beach in Pt. Reyes.

Thanks Mark. You're actually the first to say that, but it's something that I strive for. I see it in my favorite photographers. It's great to hear that others see it and it's pleasing.

Some really wonderful wildlife shots from everybody, I'm so envious.

Now that sunset has got back to a more reasonable time (8:15pm tonight), I thought I'd go out and have a look while the sun is still setting over the water.
Not the best ever sunset, but quite colourful

I'm not as far North as you, but sunset gets pretty late at night here in Colorado. Like you, I welcome somewhat shorter days so I can include both sunrise and sunset in my photography day.
