But not this time and by not following this which as it states is on safety grounds isn’t looking good if Merc do go ahead. Will it change the result, I’m not sure but it does bring into question the integrity of the decisions.

next season is going to be very interesting. Who has nailed the new design, did anyone find any interesting loopholes. Do the new regs even work or will it take a while for everyone to confirm to one key theme.

How can you give a estimate of driver vs driver speed when they are in two different cars? I don’t understand how any of you guys draw these conclusions for either side. You can directly compare Lewis with Valteri and Max with Checo. That’s really it in terms of embarassing one another with pace.

In terms of w2w battle, the only person to actually get embarrassed was Lewis…by Checo! Checo was a damn legened in his defense! And what a kind hearted guy. You could tell he genuinely felt bad for holding Lewis, but he may be the driver responsible for Max winning!

I think that was your opinion that Lewis destroyed Max mentally. If he did, he must have recovered extremely fast to actually overtake Ham in that last lap. The straight-line speed of that Mercedes was such even without DRS that Ham was able to pull even with Verstappen before turns 6 and 9. Now you may argue that any other driver could have pulled it off easily, but I don't think so. When people thought about needing a miracle for Max to win, that was not in reference to his driving ability, but the pure pace of the Mercedes, albeit driven by Ham. Max was equally driving well, considering the gaps they both had to their team mates.

But if you really think and feel that was the case, so be it!

Williams supporter so i'm just excited for next season and hopefully an improvement from Williams.

I would never say “it’s all car.” Lewis is one of the best of all time. Try to keep track of who you are judging, and which group we may or may not belong to. I’m in the “appreciates both Lewis and Max equally” group.

Further, Hamilton is on another level relative Bottas. This is clear to see because they are in the SAME car. That’s how you make a fair assessment of pace - same car, same tires, etc. There are hundreds of millions of dollars in divergent design philosophies and you think it’s a good comparison?

I’m sure many things are “clear” to you. Doesn’t mean there is a factual basis. Then again, everyone has different “facts” in even the most basic instances.
