Is there a decent restoration place near you that you can trust? Otherwise I would buy the restored one....if it was restored correctly. Saves the headache

I'm sure I could find a place, but I had a DIY approach in mind. Keep it as an ongoing project for a year or two. Or maybe I scrap the idea and jump in a GTR, idk I have too many ideas and not enough time/money. lol

get yourself a couple project cars. I've been doing that for the last few years. No better feeling than bringing a dead car back to life and turning into a legitimate race car. (or just nicely living car) no need to race it if you dont want to. lol

I would if I had a place for the project car and a place for it to be dead for months/years at a time lol. And also if I had the money . I barely have enough money to focus on the one car I have

Yep that's usually the two big downers. space and money. lol, you could always split a storage space with some friends. Thats what I did, 3 buddies and a small warehouse space.

use a cable! I've done that at work several times. Cat 5/6 works well. I've also used a mouse and positioned the mouse as the belt buckle

That must have been a sight to see.... I think my boss would flip out if I used a mouse as a belt with dress clothes
