and since the eyes are perforated, i put on some sunglasses before i put the helmet on and it worked flawlessly

for some reason my work internet is blocking the website i got it from, but it's a plastic paintball mask i found at BudK.

just google BudK Skull Mask and you'll hit it.....

Sweet bike, I love the white/red combo also. Partial to red frames and wheels on Ducatis, like the Senna bikes. This scheme fits the 848 really well.

Why thank you, I agree the red frame and wheels only works on some bikes. It gets a lot of attention I've never seen another one around me in this scheme.

One of my favorites! Handled great and torquey for a 600. Shoulda made it a track bike instead of selling when I got my Duc

Yea, the bike has a monster of a motor for a 600. I've ridden all the other japanese SS bikes and none hold a candle to the ZX-6R.

The R6 is more agile but too peaky in terms of power delivery. It also lacks the slipper clutch and steering damper that are standard on the ZX.

The GSXR is a good all rounder but doesnt accel in any department too well.
Comes with a steering damper but no slipper clutch.

The CBR is light and easy to ride and get used to but it is down on power and grunt. This too lacks some of the standard goodies.

04 r6 sold
04 r6 sold
08 r6S sold
2000 r6 current. it was weird going from fuel injected to carb but got used to it i've always wanted to create a street fighter but didn't want to do it with an expensive bike. but I don't ride often so this bike is FOR SALE or trade for some wheels or something if anyone is interested. definitely a head turner

So, I copped this 2007 Aprilia 1000R with Ohlin's at the front and back, and some other mods. This bike is so much more than the 900SS and asks so much less of me. I'm getting more and more comfortable and confident of the bike and myself every week. Amazing piece of machine. Can't wait to track it next season.

Very nice! Mine was a few years older than yours and I loved it (until I smacked the side of a oldsmabuick doing about 60mph).

Only thing I did not like was during the hot summers, sitting in traffic. The coolings fans would kick on and the super hot air would rise between the tank and the seat, which would leave big red marks on my thighs it got so hot.

Nothing like a big twin though!

This thread has been dormant far too long!

A couple of shots of my Diavel, Sammael, from a ride to a place called Holey Land (name of the bridge in the background) in the Everglades, off of US 27 in SoFla.

Pics of my bikes.

2009 Ducati 848. Don't have a more recent pic. This pic doesn't show the Brembo front monoblocks I added or the Ohlins 25mm cartridges.
