Most of us by sports and sporty cars for entertainment and engagement. We don't care about lap times. We care about the sound, the experience, the enjoyment. Auto gearboxes are fine for people who either (a) don't care about the mechanics of driving or (b) people who have given up on mechanics of driving or (c) people who drive for comfort rather than enjoyment. I've had an Audi DSG gearbox in the past. It was good...technically good. And so so sooo boring. Can't imagine why people buy sports car with those Crappy Paddle gearboxes....my guess is modern laziness and indifference.

To each their own, but I think it looks fine. A BMW owner over at SupraMKV put it pretty nicely. This design is not catered towards the BMW crowd, aka most people on this forum. And vice versa, the G29 Z4 was probably not meant to appeal to most Toyota owners.
Anyways, back on topic. A few more pics from Spain. |

The fact they've dragged this on for SOOOOOO long with the damned camo is awful. The car already looks old, we're bored with it, and you can't even buy one yet! |

Yeah it's been a long time. Other cars like the Chevy mid engine Corvette (aka Zora) has also been spied for the same amount of time. |

Would be interesting if they offered a Lexus version for the luxury sport crowd.

^I do recall a Toyota executive from Europe not ruling out the possibility of a Lexus version of the A90 Supra.
Some crappy videos from Spain. |

The targa has always been a US thing. Most oversea Supras were hardtop. Tada san wanted the car to be more of a sports car, back to its 2000GT roots so no back seats. Again, Tada san has not ruled out a manual at a later date, but ok..
And more pics lol. |
