Been training for about 6 months at RepScheme. Done a few comps and signed up for the open.

What do you guys think about the 13.1 w/o?

13.1 looks pretty tough for me. I dont think the burps are any issues but the snatches are going to be tough for me bc I really dont have that much power yet. I guess ill just do my best!

I am going saturday to do the 13.1 WOD and ill post it up

Agreed the snatches are going to be a pain in the ass. Not looking forward to it I'm hoping to finish the 135lbs snatches. Can't wait for Saturday

well I did a practice today on the 13.1 and I got to the 135 with 7:15 seconds to go but was unable to do the 135 snatch. I suck!! but I was so close. tomorrow is my official run at it and I am determined to do at least 1 135. Im sure most of you guys can do the 135 no problem but for me its tough, im weak

How did you guys do with 13.2? I managed to get 178 reps. Spent a lot of time stepping up and down the box.

^^Thats awesome. I was only able to do 109 reps the 115 overhead was killing me. Im still very weak!!

the deadlifts and the box jumps were pretty easy for me. Just need to get a lot stronger. My long arms and legs dont help either.

the numbers these top contenders are posting is just mind blowing to me. I am just in shock. BEAST MODE

^^just go for one class and see if you like it. Most box's will let you attend a trial class.

I agree, it looks to be pretty intense. I feel I am in reasonable shape (I go to the gym) but crossfit seems like a whole other level!

My wife and I just started this week. I could never get into working out at the gym so I've done mostly cycling. Crossfit is DOMINATING me. I'm 6'3" and 250lbs and cardio has always been a challenge for me. I thought I was strong until my first class on Sarurday. Lets just say it was a humbling experience. Been back twice since and I've never felt so sore but so good in my life!

I did ok I think. On 13.3 I did 152 reps 13.4 I did 37 and on 13.5 I wont know

Due to schedule and other engagements I am not going to be able to get in the box to do 13.5 but its ok I will still do it when I get back monday and see how I do. It wasn't as if I was going to be making it to regionals or anything

Golf always comes first then close second is cross fit

how did you do?

Being the first open for me, I am very glad I participated. Good luck on 13.5.

If anyone is interested I have some cf gear I'm looking to get rid of. I have some new and some lightly worn (but still in near perfect condition) shorts and shirts. I also have a pair of crossfit lifter pluses (only worn a handful of times) I'm selling. PM me if interested.

Lol honestly I actually stepped back from crossfit for a few months I was getting to skinny believe it or not. I couldn't eat enough food per day to keep up so I'm taking a few months off and doing strength focus gym work to gain back some size

I will say all things aside I have never been in better shape in my life then when I did crossfit but for me I can't do it all the time I burn to much
