Is that a good thing? Or should i be a little looser in my remaining time in HS?

You're not a self righteous prick who had their parents buy their car and think they are hot shit like most kids your age on here...

And before the rest of you flip out (that meet my initial description)... I said most, not all.

Depends on how you carry it. Maturity is needed for many things in college, but you might want to start having a little more fun in HS to prepare your liver.

College gets harder, but you become a better student so it's about the same all the way through undergrad.

Also, befriend classmates early because you'll need some study partners. At least until you learn to study on your own, on college they give you the material and they expect you to know it. They don't really teach it, they just state it.

Well thank you!
However, my parents did buy my car but its because they wanted me to participate in an internship which is more productive than the job I would need to pay for a car myself.

I'm not knocking the car being paid for, I'm talking more about the attitudes...

Oh ok. I get you. Just wanted to make sure it wasnt focused on that. But yeah there are a lot of kids with that attitude around me and I dont appreciate it either. Some of them tried to brush shoulders with me and I set them straight.

My first car was given to me by my parents as well. It wasn't a BMW though, it was a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. Ballin' son.

Well my first car was sort of a failure. My parents bought me an '03 mercedes c230 coupe off my dads close friend who owns a few mitsubishi dealerships. Brakes needed to be completely replaced and were never right, a/c broke, headlights were like a candle, everything creaked. And if you know anything about that car, the parts dont exist.. haha. So they bought me my '08 e90. And my younger brother gets his license soon so its going to him and I'm getting something else before college, most likely something 4wd.(335xi maybe?)

Virginia Tech!

Great academics, number 2 dining in the country, great football team, AMAZING sense of community.

Don't let recent tragic events persuade you away from VT. Never in my current 3 years have I regretted my decision to attend VT. Never have I felt as though my life was in danger, and though I am a Korean American, never have I felt persecuted against for that fact. VT truly is an amazing school and is one that I definitely think you should consider.

I am one year older than you and can say this. Do NOT take hard classes your first semester. You will legitimately plan on studying and then get caught up by a girl trying to swallow your manhood lmfao.

I'm on the same boat, OP. Senior in high school and working on getting into college.

Was rejected from my ED school, Hopkins...

However, I'm already in a bunch of safety's so I know I will be going to college. NJIT, Drexel, Temple, St. Louis University... I got either a decent scholarship or a full ride there but I'm still trying to get into a higher caliber such as Northwestern, Tufts, etc.
