Funny reading other auto name brand posts. "Ours is always better than theirs" Philosophy is alive and kickin'. Fortunate for us that we know BMW is better than the rest.

Here you go. I've tinted the windows since then but I haven't had a chance to take new pics. Maybe today.

I own a 335 coupe but am also a big fan of the SRT8 cars. Cars are like women, they come in all sizes and shapes but they are all good. My brother has the Jeep SRT8 and we work together, so we are ALWAYS racing. The Jeep SRT8 is the only SRT car with all wheel drive, and so at the stop light grand prix, it is the fastest. All the road tests I have seen out there agree on this for the 0-60. Just for interest we ran a few runs 0-60 with his GTEch Pro. Same road, conditions first his jeep then my 335. I don't know how accurate the GTech is, but consistently he was doing 4.8 s and I was getting 5.0 s. My car is stock, auto. So what does this have to do with the topic you may ask? Well the Jeep SRT8 off the line is supposedly faster than the 300 SRT8.

Now if the 300 or Magnum SRT8's come out with AWD, it is all over...

Actually, I challenge you to troll the Ducati Monster List DML.com and then say that. Ive never been on a forum like that where everyone is there because they love to ride and arent elitists. Its a great bunch of people where VERY infrequently do you see someone say SEARCH. Also the MODs are on the threads all day long and the minute someone even looks at another member crosseyed, their priveledges are suspended or they are warned.

You guys should read some of the post from the Chrysler forum link on this thread! Hahahaha like this one!!

"2007 335i BEAT an SRT8 ???? ..oh man, that's comical

NO it can't, the specs aren't even "close" actually...despite weight

Now, don't chime in here folks with the ol' "well, those things are easy to mod, and chip, up to 9 second cars" crap! ... this is stock to stock (why oh why do some people always like to compare a modded car to a stock car?)

as for a comparison per modding dollar with the BMW? in the end, I will mod my car enough to destroy a 335i "TRI" turbo if one existed. Or add any "other" mods the BMW may or may not possess...it won't matter a lick!

stop it folks, will ya? this car has ZERO chance of defeating an 300C SRT8..and i'll personally prove it against anyone of them

BTW- i defeat 911 twin turbos all day long!!!!...no really, i do

apples to apples"

Especially the 911TT statement!!!

Another guy said one of his mods to his car was a "Key chain with srt logo"

Haven't been on those, but on the 600rr.net forums (for the Honda CBR600RR motorcycle) 99% of people are friendly even amidst the slew of 17 year olds asking the universal question "is the CBR a good first bike?" themselves knowing the answer is "no" hoping for one person to say "yea man ull be fine just respect the bike and dont be stupid!".

Not to mention they actually give competing bikes the credit they deserve.

btw whoever thinks the srt8 is not safe to go over 55. let me inform you that they go up to 177 mph, and i Highly doubt the beemer would start pulling away at top speeds in fact it would be the other way around. Dont get me wrong the 335 is my next car, the srt8 is one fast car, and the fastest stock time for one is 12.56 there is a video
http://www.300cforums.com/forums/srt...one-stock.html

Both cars are unique and have their own images, its all personal preference, do you need a family car and want to smoke everyone, or do you want a sports car.

Well, when you do own it, its spelled BIMMER. BEEMER refers to BMW motorcycles.

177 MPH?

<GUFFAW> - OK, let's see a video of a SRT-8 going 177 mph.

Not Gonna Happen.

But there are videos of BMW's running 155 mph on the autobahn all over YouTube.

Kind of like the Chevy Impala SS with the V-8 can "theoretically" do 154 mph. Let's see an Impala owner take it AND HOLD IT at 154 for longer than 5 seconds.

Not Gonna Happen.

both threads are stupid. who cares? let them think what they want about their cars.

embarrassing isn't the word either...stupid is the word. how can someone who i don't know who happened to buy the same car as i did embarrass me by what he posts on some 300c forum? it doesn't make any sense. when you buy a car you aren't buying into some sort of club.

You are correct. However, we were under the impression that you knew all of us. Now we're sad.

I have a 335i and I love that it is quick and relatively nimble. I don't know which one is quicker to 60 and I don't really care. Beating him off the line won't make my balls any bigger and my car wouldn't be any faster than if he whooped my ass.

We each prefer our own cars to each others, and there's not a damn thing wrong with that. Viva la difference, folks!
common sense I agree with. Glad you like the 335 - I do too.
