technically they still exist, but they are a shell of their former selves. The company only has about 200 employees still working for it (they had about 85,000 employees worldwide at their peak) and they're based primarily in Chicago. They're working on handling the remaining lawsuits again the company and working toward final dissolution of the company.

From the current list, we have until Sunday, November 5th, to come up with a final group of nominees (3-5). Anyone can submit or remove any members name to this list. If you want to contribute a private nomination, you are welcome to PM me. You have my word that your input will remain confidential.

I have noticed that some members have complained about a lack of aknowledgement in the E90Post Awards. This list we have so far is based on the opinions of a very few members. When more members participate and make suggestions, we will have a larger variety to choose from and more members will recieve the recognition they deserve.

I hope everyone is enjoying the preparation of these Awards as much as I am and I appreciate everyones support.

OK I have a question, are we going to "help out" any of the voters by say, posting photos of the best cars, posting photos taken by the nominees for best photographer, posting photos of the best meets, etc. or are we going to let them do their own research?

On one hand, it could be unfair for example if the photos posted of the best car aren't as good as another car's photos. Or for best photographer, you can't really post everything all of them have done so you would have to choose.

On the other hand, if you leave it up to the voters to look things up on their own, they may be more likely to simply vote for member names that look familiar, truning it into more of a "popularity" contest.

What do you guys think?

Based on the ability of people to use the search function , I'd say you're right, it will be a popularity contest or people will just pick names they remember seeing the most. Helping out is a good idea.
