what do you do to get out of a ticket when you get pulled over by a cop outside of your jurisdiction? Do you just show them your badge? I mean, there're thousands of police departments in this country - i.e., different cities, Port Authority cops, University cops, postal police, federal agencies, etc... how do they know if you are a real cop? And do you always get out of it? |

Though I sometimes joke around about badging my way out of stuff I am not above the law myself, I just sit there they run my driver license (its confidentialized) and I even let them know that I was speeding and if they wanted to cite me they could. They just choose not to.

Back to thread topic....thats awesome about this kid. I went 'cruising' once this summer, mainly to find some girls and hopefully a party, and ended up just getting taunted by a bunch of riced out WRX's trying to get me to race, with their exhausts sounding a like a damn riding lawnmower. A couple of em stock even. One obviously didnt have radar and my V1 was going NUTS, so I just reved it up and as the light goes green he nails it and I just go at a normal pace. BLAMMO, he gets nailed, haha. My other reply just snip at them, "I could have bought 2 of your cars, but I wanted something with class." Douchebag frat college kids in WRX's just piss me off...I dont race on the street. Its dumb for one, could endanger others for 2, and why do it? I know my cars fast as shit, who I do I have to prove it to? I just dont get it |

News flash, kid. Your opinion is obviously in the minority.

Or he taught this kid a lesson before he endangered himself or others. That kids gonna learn now.
When I was 3, I was messing around feeling around the stove and my grandpa who was watching me, just let me touch the damn hot burner. Guess what, I learned NOT to stupid shit like that again. Yea, maybe OP went a tad overboard with the impounding and such, but the kid learned a valuable lesson that his 'parents' obviously didnt do. Belts, slaps upside the head, paddlings and the like need to be brought back. Makes people more mature at younger ages. You learn the hard way not to do stupid shit, and that would have helped this kid out. |

Do you enjoy representing yourself as an ignorant child? If so, I guess you shouldn't care.
You're the 2nd retard I've come across on these boards today that doesn't seem to understand common decency.

OP, I just recentely traded in my G for the 335, but still frequent the off topic section of G35driver.com. Only reason why I found this section was because someone there posted your story. Just want to let you know, that you're getting praises from that board too. Not becuase of your personal attitude towards enforcement of traffic violations, but your steadfastness and great use of discretion. This kid had it coming, no matter what car he was driving. As a prelaw student myself, I appluad you for a job well done.
