...you see, the more Supras that are owned by real enthusiasts, the fewer Supras there are available to total @ssholes, ricers, and rich but tasteless people...you know, the ones who epitomize the saying "money doesn't buy you taste/class."

for instance, when i buy my 2nd Supra, it'll be one less Supra on the market for any old schmuck to buy. it drastically reduces the chances of another Supra being wrecked, riced out, or "garage-queened"...i know that may sound selfish or greedy, but with so few MKIV Supras around (and the number has been decreasing from the moment production ceased), us enthusiast owners feel the need to preserve what's left of them.

GOOD!...Veilside actually makes alot of top quality products...body kits is NOT one of them (at least not for the Supra anyways).

i can't wait to see your TRD widebody track car when it comes together. the only thing i'm not crazy about is the TRD front bumper...i think the OEM one looks way better. one thing i've been considering is going TRD widebody in the rear and leaving the front OEM - that way i can achieve an even more flared look in the rear (kind of like how a Ferrari Testarossa goes from narrow to wide as you traverse the body from front to back). oh, and i also agree with the general consensus as far as color goes - flat black does NOT look good on the MKIV Supra.

Yeah, on second thought I'm not likin the matte black on the MK4.

A nice glossy black will suffice.

Keep us updated, Spool!

The TRD front bumper just needs that tooth looking thing shaved off to get a cleaner look. I would go Ridox, but that front bumper is 2500 bucks...ridiculous for just a front fiberglass bumper...this process is going to take me a long time

i agree, the TRD front bumper would look 100 times better with the center "tooth" removed...however, i still like the OEM front bumper much more. in fact, i like the Ridox very much as well, partly b/c its very similar to the OEM front bumper, and partly b/c its so aggressive. do they only make the Ridox in fiberglass? the reason i ask is b/c it has that CF lip below the paint line, so i was under the impression that it was full carbon fiber with the lip left unpainted.

there are 2 versions, one is full fiberglass, that one goes for like 1800 i think, then there's the one with fiber glass and the CF strip at the bottom...

they don't come in any other material...the messed up thing is that i had a chance to buy the bumper locally for 500 and back then i didn't have a Supra yet so i didn't buy it...kicking myself in the nuts right now....i planned on buying a supra but i didn't have the Supra yet so i didn't buy the bumper...so it's harder to get than anything....

congrats spool, haha about the supras i was talking to my mom about what car she might get me and she knows i want bmw's and she is REALLY iffffy about it so i was like,,, "ummm mom what about a toyta" and she was instantly like " yea sure", and i started searching it, i typed 1998 slowly and her face turned kinda happy thought it would be like some cheap ass beat up Toyota and when the supra came up and she looked at the price of 32G's (it was tuned) she was like...... so yea we should go back to talking about those old 3 series fuck, congrats on the supra spool.

Gotta love Supras

It sounds like yours will be appreciated and driven instead of being dyno queens and ricers, thank god... Most of the supra owners that came to dyno days in the shop that I worked for awhile were a-holes that had dyno queens which was a disgrace to the supra. Looks like you picked up a good set of project cars, keep us updated

Congrats. Supras and NSXs are some of my favorite cars of all time. There is a special place in my heart for late 90's Japanese sports cars (the RX7 was awesome also)

Awesome bro, nice cars. Good luck with the rebuild.

I had a NA 97 Supra (yeah I know I was a poser too ). Bought it in 2000 and sold it the weekend of the Fast and Furious in 2001. Sold it for $1000 more than I paid for it, plus I put on about 12,000miles .

I looked into the single turbo route for a while but didn't have the funds back then. Hmmm maybe I have another itch to scratch, looks like they are getting scarce like you guys were saying tho.
