I hate the blame on the refs, but I've given blame to them myself on occasion.
But Steph can hit that long 3 whether his teammates set moving screens for him or not. And that's why GS can win

This notion that there is an NBA conspiracy to allow certain teams to win by making calls or non-calls in favor of those teams is a bit hard to believe for me. Have there been bad refs? Sure. Can a good ref have a bad day? You bet. For the NBA or refs on their own to manipulate an entire season in favor of certain teams is not believable. Too many people would have to be in on it and it would never remain secret. We we as fans have different opinions about the very same play, and it happens all the time, imagine what the refs are facing each and every game. No matter how they call it, someones going to be unhappy. It is absolutely a thankless job. Each team will have calls that go their way and calls that don't. When it happens at the end of the game and appear to affect the outcome, its a big deal. The truth is every point matters and every call matters, regardless of which of the 48 minutes we are talking about. Refs make mistakes just like players, coaches, and the rest of us. I don't believe there is any kind of a coordinated conspiracy. Maybe a ref has a hard on for a team or a player and that bias affects his call making. In the long run, I think bad calls and no calls even out. Teams should win by enough where a bad call or two at the wrong time won't affect the outcome. That's what winning teams do. I'm bias since I live in the Bay Area and have been a Warrior fan for years. My biased opinion is GS is a great team this year and they can play at the top level and set records based on their combined talent. The next couple of weeks will tell if they are good enough to repeat. |

I'm sure it was a conspiracy. It wasn't the year for the Spurs to be selected to win by the NBA officials. Seriously, the Spurs and the Warriors would have been a great matchup, especially given GS' inability to win on the Spurs home court. |

they should implement the total points scored rule like soccer tournaments....basically make every game minute count. Give the fans what they paid for.

The NBA wanted okc/gsw series and didn't want a defensive series to bore the casuals Spurs fans will always be Spurs fan , we're enjoying the off season It was a good run for the franchise, the sky isn't falling and the season was fun to watch even if we lost Wait till gsw fails and see how many lebron "fans" suddenly shows up If donkey Kong gets suspended and gsw loses game 4, it'll be funny to see all the gsw "fans" walk out on their team. All their fans left around the 3rd quarter game 3 where I was watching the game |

Game 2 there were some blown calls, but you guys still had the opportunity to take the lead and blew it. But Game 6 when they were facing elimination, they just disappeared. |

GS sucks. The only reason they had a record-breaking season is the refs gave it for them. (By the way, that logic isn't playing right now since they are down 3-1.) GS fans suck. Got it. We are not real fans. The Spurs are great. The Spurs fans are great. Did I miss anything? |

I'll say this about Golden State. They look fucking shook right now. They don't even remotely resemble the team that won 73 games.
Steph looks slow, weak, uncomfortable, and like he lacks confidence. Klay forever appears high as fuck, but he showed some mettle. That was mostly a joke. Klay actually has done his damnedest to carry the offensive load when Curry isn't doing work, and he had a great scoring outburst last night. Bogut looks dumbfounded despite committing the same stupid fouls over and over. Granted they aren't always called (and sometimes shouldn't be called at all), but he still makes them and is surprised when they get called. Iggy needs to shut the fuck up and stop complaining. Some of his complaints ARE warranted, but this is the playoffs. Stop complaining on every. single. goddamn. play. (and I'm a HUGE Iguodala fan) No idea what the fuck is up with Draymond Green. He's outmatched right now. He's getting sloppy. He isn't finding his spots within the offense. Whether Steph is "injured" or not (I don't see how it would matter after his god-like Game 2), this Warriors team is VISIBLY lax and apathetic. At a time when OKC has turned it up to Ludicrous (Space Balls) speed. I said in the other thread, Russell Westbrook is not human. He never has been. Sometimes that's to the detriment of his team because he forces shit. But right now, in this series, HE is the MVP. And he's imposing his will on the entire GSW team and there is nothing they can do to stop him. Durant has been meh for the most part, but Westbrook is taking OKC to another level by inspiring his teammates to elevate their levels of play. No excuses for either team, GSW is just getting beat by an OKC team that appears to be hungrier. When Steph cannot get shots in rhythm (something we've rarely seen this season), GSW struggle as a whole.

Sad but true. Nice summary.
Now lets see if they are real champions and can come back from a 1-3 hole. Not likely but it would be exciting. If they lose they can go bass fishing like the Spurs Quote:

Because of this I don't think you can ever count them out until it's over. Winning an elimination game is the hardest thing to do in the NBA.
