^^^^ watching those videos people don't honestly think the old G was better looking do they?
I get that not having a manual is a bummer, because it is. BUT looks wise this thing is miles ahead of previous generations in my opinion. The back looks almost Maserati-ish... I think this is a great new entrant to the segment. |

I think it looks great. The 4 series looks boring in comparison. BMW needs some innovative designs. Mercedes is killing it with exterior and interior design in my opinion and now Infiniti too. BMW has really dropped the ball as of late.

I think it looks great and I'm a bimmer fan. You get way more with Infiniti than you get with BMW, so yeah I might look at it once my lease is up...

Has that widebody look, so get some wider rims and black out some of the chrome, you got a killer car.
I would definitely trust reliable 400hp with more room to grow than any of the European alternatives. Bummer its not offered in manual, but the 7 speed from the G/Q or beefier transmission from the M56 is most likely the drivetrain that will be used. With the rev match feature and no auto upshift, their transmissions are pretty much close to manual fun. |

The new infinity Q60's BMW's worst nightmare.
Is it me or do they look like a mixture of a m4 and a rcf? I feel like they're aiming right at Bmw with that TT engine making 400hp and 350tq.
I remember when the e46 m3's were out the g35's/350z's were their main competitor. Then the g37's/370z's came and the e9x 335's were direct competitors and the e9x m3's were way out of Nissan's league. Now they have a pretty good competitor they have three engines and only two worth mentioning. The 400hp engine and the 300hp engine. I feel like these are going to be one of the top coupe sellers, and mod friendly cars. BMW is falling behind... Link to the info. http://www.cheatsheet.com/automobile...tml/?a=viewall

Numbers might be comparable but c'mon, it's like comparing boxed wine with a Bordeaux. Sure they both taste like wine and will get you drunk if you drink enough of it. Just a few things that stick out for me: Wheels, weird rear window, Jag looking fin, the Infinity badge.
Most people that will end up buying one, probably won't even know what an M car is anyway.

Having seen it in person, I agree. The family resemblance and DNA from the past G35/G37 are immediately clear when you walk around the car. It's a great looking coupe. Hopefully the performance matches what the specs suggest - should be pretty quick in 400hp S trim as long as they didn't balloon the weight to 4k lbs.
