What would be interesting is whether both drivers believe that, if push comes to shove and they can't work with RD, Honda will force him out. As always in F1, money talks and Honda has the money. Ah.. the machinations behind the scenes in F1.

GLad Jensons there. Him this year and kimis antics are the best thing about F1.
I hope that slimeball crynando stays at the back. He has destroyed too many great f1 teams/few drivers in his short career, with his machinations. I do respect his driving talent but as a person he plain sucks. |

Ok, I think it's all updated and the grid is nearly complete, pending Caterham's final actions. Caterham will be allowed to run their 2014 car(s) in 2015 - if buyers are found.
They can pick from Vergne, Sutil, Chilton, Lotterer or Stevens.

I just added all their race numbers to my OP and removed Vergne from the Caterham short-list, added him to Ferrari as a test driver. Here's a thought: Ferrari now has Esteban and JEV has test drivers...could they be being lined up for Ferrari-powered Haas F1?

In regard to Caterham, this is from SkySports
"Administrators at Caterham still hopeful team will return for the 2015 season Backmarkers missed two of the final three races after going into administration By Bryan Swanson, Sky Sports News HQ Chief News Reporter. Last Updated: 23/12/14 12:23pm Talks involving potential new buyers will continue into the New Year after creditors voted in favour of administrators’ proposals at a meeting on Monday. “Our dialogue with prospective interested parties continues,” Henry Shinners, joint administrator, told Sky Sports News HQ. “We are grateful to creditors for their endorsement of our strategy and work. We remain hopeful that the Caterham Formula 1 team can be saved and be on the grid in Melbourne for the first race of 2015.” Following the demise of both Caterham and fellow backmarkers Marussia, only nine teams are currently in place to compete next season. The first race takes place in Australia on March 15, while the first of three pre-season tests will start on February 1. After going into administration in November, Caterham missed both the United States and Brazilian GPs before returning for the season finale in Abu Dhabi following the launch of a controversial crowdfunding scheme." |

There are fears now that a 3rd team might collapse, Lotus. Lotus has like a $160 million dollar budget and employs hundreds of people.
Bob Fernley from FI said; ""We are about to start a new year with the same warning, but no one seems to grasp what is going on and how urgent things have become. They are like sailors rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic while the ship sinks," |
