Thanks. I would have posted the video, but it's in MP4 format ant I don't know how to change it. There is part covering the interior. It has the stitching on the Bolsters as well. As soon as I can I will post more pics. They didn't mention anything about the Brake or Steering Spindle recalls, so I'm hoping it either got taken care of at Homologation or it is a rare non-affected vehicle and it squeezed through the gap between both recalls.

So the dealer contacted me about the M Logo for the fenders. See the photo. The ones that go on the 5er are actually larger than the ones on the 4 series. He looked up the part number on an EU VIN 5er and these are the ones that popped up.

Makes sense I guess - the 5 series is a bigger looking vehicle than the 4 series.

If you want the black version of the M Logo for the fenders, then this is the part number (these are the ones I bought): Genuine BMW M Performance Gloss Black "///M" Logo Set - Part Number 51-14-5-A4B-373

I don't know if those are the same size as the ones AiredaleDad ordered, but I like the way they look on my car either way. :-)

I'll measure them and let you know when I get my car. All the paperwork for Registration is in, filed, paid for, and stamped. I just have to wait for processing now. I was told that if all goes well I will have my Reg and license plate # in hand on the 31st, and the dealer can make the plates and have it ready for me on the 1st. Worst case they don't have the reg on the 30th and I have to wait another week. (They only do them on Thursdays.) And the BMW dealer only delivers on Fridays. Apparently they make a whole big production out of delivery day! It's a whole thing here. More so when you are purchasing what here in Spain is a 100K+ Euro vehicle

This! Go with it Todd. If nothing else you can put them in the box with all the rest of the stuff ordered. But I would put them on the fridge and rub them every time you walk by for good Juju.

You know it seemed weird to me. I spent 2 weeks in SF bay area, and went all the way down to Monterey. I didn't see a single G60 on the road the whole time. The only place I saw 3 of them was in the SIXT car rental area when I was turning in my rental SUV.

I didn’t see one during my last Bay Area trip either, which really surprised me. I’ve also yet to see one in the wild in Ohio, with the exception of my neighbors at the end of my street l, who have a white & black stormtrooper MY24 540 that showed up in their driveway in May.

In all seriousness though, They do seem pretty rare still. I saw one Black 2024 I5 S Drive 40 when I was in Virginia last June, and I saw one Black 2024 520d X Drive here on base a few months back. But that's it so far. I am surprised there aren't more in the Bay area. There are a few at the dealerships in the area, but I haven't seen any on the road.

I think for where I live it will be pretty rare. The only other one I know of here in Southern Spain is the Spec Black 530 iX US Specs the dealer has that I looked at before I ordered mine. My dealer said so far mine is the ONLY 540iX in all of Spain. No other US personnel have ordered one. Most go for the X1, 2 Series or 4 Series.

Give it 4 or 5 years and there will probably be a lot more. We are the pioneers for the G60. Even more so the 540, since it did not come out until late in 2024 MY, and it is a US only vehicle (For Now) I think once more countries start seeing the real fuel economy numbers can actually beat the 530 (likely due to HP to Weight Ratio, and cylinder de-activation in the B58), they will approve them in Canada, Australia, etc. I believe the 540iX will be sold in more countries for MY 2026. It was more popular than the 530 was wherever it was sold for those with a higher budget.

There are a few around here, but yeah not super common in either ICE or EV trim. Similar with G70’s, but a ton of i4’s. The lack of deliveries these past few months is probably not helping that.

Update: So everything legal wise is set for me to pick up my car today. I have my Spanish Registration in hand. I have the ITV paperwork. I have the tax exemption certificate. I have Insurance, I even have a base pass. But due to the torrential rain, and flooding in the area, And other parts of Spain, they have not been able to detail and prep the car for delivery. It is in secure storage at the dealer. And they have had flooding and damage to the delivery part of the dealer where the roof caved in. Thankfully there was no damage to personnel, or any of the cars. (I was worried about buying a Submarine) But the dealer is closed until next week while they try to recover and restore. So they said, unfortunately they will not be able to deliver my car until next week. I said, "Better safe than sorry. I can wait another few days." So hopefully Monday is the day.

I’m so excited for you!! Mother nature needs to calm down; She is not permitted to turn your G60 into an Ohio class submarine.
