Update went through for me as well. Parking Assistant Pro is back. Subscribed for a year. Activated Successfully. But it’s not in the app. How do I get it to appear back in the app!?

Update installed flawlessly What's weird? Is I never even took the car out of garage? It prompt me on my phone That there was an update rung the phone to my car hour later. It was ready to install, never drove anywhere

My option on Parking took about an hour to show up. I looked at the options and chose the one time payment of $220. I hate subscriptions. Now to wait for it to show up in the car.

The actual OTA was a pain in the butt. I don’t live near a cell tower, so I downloaded from the app using WiFi. Went to the car and had to drive it to find a signal. It also said it would only install while driving. Drove until it said 100% then drove home.

Tomorrow, I will drive it and see if anything has changed.

No update yet for me, and no ability to add back Parking after my trial period expired. Interested to see when the update comes if that option comes back.

I didn’t see one either. I searched from the car, and there it was. It then immediately alerted me in the app.

That's what happened to me today too. Once I checked in the car, it showed as downloading, then I got notices in the app. It's downloaded now, but not applied yet. I think it's waiting for me to drive. I'll look into it more tomorrow.

I'm glad no one has experienced any negative issues so far!

Not overly helpful really, but if anyone is interested, this is what the app says when you tap on the update. I was hoping for more information about what it contains, but this is pretty generic.

Yeah, their description of the update tells you nothing. For me it has so far:

1. Fixed the “stuck activating” issue for Connected Drive Store purchases (ie, welcome lighting).

2. Returned Parking Assistance Pro and actually now has remote control parking working for the first time for me.

3. Fixed the automatic time zone issue.

I’m sure there are other tweaks and fixes in there, but with these alone I’m happy.

I updated last night, and immediately after the update, the lighting on the interaction bar didn't come on at all (even while driving).

Googled it and "this happens"

This morning, everything was back to normal though (with no further action taken).

Just putting this here in case anyone else runs into the same panic attack moment.

Agree. My first OTA and.. yikes! BMW desperately needs help from Tesla in the OTA department.

I received the OTA update note while out of town. The phone downloaded it automatically and then asked me to connect to the car to move the file to it. I drove it back home but nothing seemed to happen while I was on CarPlay. As soon as I stopped the car, though, the update was transferred to the car and I was given the option to install. Since I was home, I went ahead with it and it installed without any issue.

I have not checked if something's changed yet, but my version notes had three items: special notes, quality measure RCP, and disclaimer.

If it really fixes the clock error, I'll be happy - RCP worked for me before and I hope it still does...

Finally received my OTA update today. Hilarious what the process is to download, send to car and install. Part of this process requires that you're driving, I was driving around listlessly waiting for the processes to finish. BMW, let me drive into my garage, connect to my wifi and just get it handled! But I digress.

I just finished my test drive. Nothing changed with regard to road sign recognition. I tried driving home but it didn’t manage to get into the left turn lane even with navigation on.

The voice parking assistant attempted to parallel park me across two parking spaces. I had to cancel. I went to the back of the parking lot and it found those and correctly forward parked and backward parked. I recorded a maneuver. I tried the remote parking but gave up. I’ll try again later.

Yes, that happened with my first OTA update too. I think it’s BMW’s way of letting you know you’ve just installed an exciting OTA update.

I just installed the update on my car. The actual install portion only took 10 minutes to install, and I installed it remotely from the app on my phone while working in my office, with the car in the garage. Haven't tested anything yet, but will report back if anything seems out of order.

I had 3/2024.47 already and the update to .57 this morning seems to have added different graphics showing up on my HUD. Graphics for car status, so far.

I installed mine this morning and so far I’ve lost the traffic in the navigation and also my drivers assistance plus has stopped working. The regular one still works but not hands free. I rebooted iDrive but that didn’t help. I also noticed that putting in a destination and waiting for the calculation of different routes takes much longer. Hopefully thing will be back to normal tomorrow.

You don’t actually have to drive around at all. I was a bit confused by that message at first as well but you can actually keep your car in park and it will install. Mine completed without ever leaving the garage.

I think they mean turned on not actually drive, but I had to drive in order to get a cell signal and connect my phone to the car.
